It is now on Itunes but ONLY with the videos and the booklet, not the songs - well, unless you really search "Amerie Love & War"! WTF, Defjam is messing this project up on purpose? Because when you click on the album on the start screen, you will not get the songs but the videos only... I don't understand how Def Jam just allowed this to happen to Amerie. Def Jam made sure that Rihanna's album was correct for the pre-order on iTunes. But the same care and attention was not given to Amerie's album.

Oh it gets better...some stores didn't have Amerie's album in stock.
First iTunes didn't have the album on their page for half of the day and now some stores don't have Amerie's new album in stock.
Def Jam has totally dropped the ball on this project.

You know it's bad when an Amazon pre-order is a day late. Those always come on time!
Currently #3 on iTunes R&B and #108 overall.

You know... I LOVE Amerie but with this pre-order / itunes / everything messed up OR not, she still gonna flop hard next week :(
IMO she'll do worst than LeToya, cause leToya at least had an urban hit...

Even though I'm not really liking this album, I have to support this chick. Definitely going to buy a copy this week.

LOL. I wouldn't buy something I didn't like. I don't care who sings it. This is definitely my favorite Amerie album. It's fully realized, she doesn't lose her unique brand of swagger and interjections (HEY!) and even the mid-tempos and ballads are hot. There is one small part of "Higher" that I don't care for (the messy breakdown) but I am REALLY happy with this album. It's a shame that Amerie doesn't get enough attention but she keeps trying and stays on her grind and I respect her for that. Plus, she is GORGEOUS and has legs for days!

My sentiments exactly (except I love all of "Higher" - my favorite song). It must also be mentioned that the sequence of the album is perfection!

HITS listed no prediction for her; the lowest mentioned was Say Anything with 20-25k so at this rate, I'm expecting 10k.

Amerie’s ‘In Love & War’ Sets Benchmark For Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’ And it's not just because their album titles vaguely rhyme either. But Amerie's In Love & War is one of the more unexpectedly delightful entries in hip-pop this year. It also builds substantially on her reputation as "that fashionable lark who chirped that catchy jingle some years ago." In fact with Rihanna's Rated R out soon, Amerie's strategic timing provides ample opportunity for those put off by the drama swirling around Rihanna to find a substitute who isn't as hyperbolic as Beyoncé. Four albums in and In Love & War may just be the beginning of her creative crest. While Rihanna’s “Russian Roulette” makes sense as a comeback in relation to her own personal narrative, all of that stops mattering when the competition looks, sings, and dances like Amerie, with something as infectious as “Why R U” by way of a lead single off a similarly non-debut album campaign. Side-by-side, one single outshines the other, and it becomes a rare moment in pop where everything stops being about tabloid talk and approaches discussion about the music itself. In this sense, all the glossy apocalyptic teasers couldn’t undercut a solid single. Then there’s another problem. Rihanna and her team are really running with this Busted-Up Doll motif, focusing her album campaign in the too-public brutality she suffered earlier this year. And if the urban pop landscape was looking sparse, she’d be clear for lift-off. But with Amerie quickly emerging as a critical favorite, she’s gaining considerable ground with those who listen to pop music not for “the story,” but for “the beat.” Which is most people with ears. And with each passing day, more people are wearying of pop stars who disingenuously peddle a pop record as an overwrought thinkpiece/artistic statement. This means that while “Russian Roulette” works as a gimmicky device to spur buzz, what will probably help make Rated R viable in the long-run is the type of moxie that’s managed to single Amerie out from the flock of other aspiring popstrels, while keeping her indistinct enough to blend in with Top 40’s usual suspects. In Love & War meddles with a few novelties (the whole piano-on-hip-hop beat for one), but it never exhausts any of them to the point of gimmickry. It’s this balance that Rihanna needs to achieve, so Rated R doesn’t end up a reductive pile of shock and awe. www.blackbookmag.com/article/ameries-in-love-war-sets-benchmark-for-rihannas-rated-r/12388

Picked the album up at Best Buy today.
I found it odd that only some of the songs' lyrics are in the booklet, but I see you can view the rest of them at the site listed under her Thank yous.
I hope Amerie's able to get a top20 debut!

I wish she had a bit of choreography, but other than that I really liked her Why R U performance on 106. Makes me wish they didn't drop the ball on the song.

Yea, "Why R U" could have at least a minor hit had she had some type of promo. Heard Em All should have been a Top 10 hit. They have handled this project terribly!
