Yes! She's back! I've been waiting for her album like two years ago! Hopefully it won't be disappointment again!

The song sounds great, can't wait to download it. BTW, this song is an 'Everything Comes and Goes' B-side, it didn't make the final 13. So that's 9 songs from the ECAG sessions that we have now I love how she's basically giving us the album in stages and even the bonus tracks :kii:

Wait, what songs have been put out so far? I have the EP, as well as This Way (my favourite) and Getaway (if that counts). What am I missing?

Wait, what songs have been put out so far? I have the EP, as well as This Way (my favourite) and Getaway (if that counts). What am I missing? This is the original Everything Comes and Goes tracklist: 1. This Way 2. Sooner or Later 3. I Want Tears 4. Crazy Ride 5. Ready to Let You Go 6. Show Me A Sign 7. Long Goodbye 8. Texas in the Mirror 9. Summertime 10. Not That Strong 11. Everything Comes and Goes 12. Pretty Little Lyin' Eyes 13. Through the RadioThe ones in red have either been released as part of the EP or given away for free on her website, with the most recent free download being "Texas in the Mirror", a week or so ago. As for "Getaway", it might get reworked for the new album.

New song titles revealed via ASCAP:
"What Don't Kill You" "Dear Life" "The Story Of Us" "Loud Music" "Spark" (this is the one heard on the ustream chat)
p.s. Perhaps this thread should be renamed since ECAG is over and dead?

If the album is gonna come out in June then we should be expecting to be hearing a single by April or May. Maybe sooner? and is that "What Don't Kill You" title real or a typo? Bad grammar.

~Michelle update time Download "The Long Goodbye" For FreePosted on March 15, 2011 by Michelle This is a song that I am the most excited to share with all of you. One of my favorite artists is Dwight Yoakam. When I was in the studio in Nashville, we met and I told him it would be a dream come true if he sang on my record. Next thing you know, he was in the studio singing "Long Goodbye" with me. I couldn't imagine this song without his voice on it. This song was meant to be the follow up single to "Sooner Or Later" (off the album that never was, Everything Comes and Goes.) I'm so disappointed that it was never released as I was really looking forward to filming the video with Dwight. Maybe next time ;) M DOWNLOAD AT: www.michellebranch.com/------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW ALBUM STUDIO UPDATE:

Not sure how newsworthy this is, haha, but the PD of KZZO Sacramento included "Loud Music" in his Hot Picks on AllAccess...first single, perhaps? :) More noteworthy: Recording's done (tweet was on 4/13, but I forgot to post, lol).

Can't wait but what I find interesting is how she toiled away for years with a country CD that didn't get supported and as soon as she's willing to do pop/rock her label gets their act together and records an album within a few months.

And I still think she had a better chance at having some success if she went the country route. She might have some success with her old style of pop music, but as far as today's idea of pop music goes, she's not what they're looking for. Her label is stupid.

I agree with you to a degree, she's been gone too long have major success imo. Probably more on an Avril level comeback. I can understand her label on some level though, they don't want to spend the money on something they don't think will sell well. It's debatable whether she could just enter country and suceed right away after doing pop/rock.

It's debatable whether she could just enter country and suceed right away after doing pop/rock. Before trying her hand at solo country music, her previous endeavor was with The Wreckers as a successful country duo. Its not like the general public were like "OMG, she's a pop artist!" She didn't make a transition straight from pop to country as a solo artist... she already had established herself w/ the country format in duo form. The Wreckers shouldn't have broken up IMHO, but having her stick w/ the country route as a solo artist seemed pretty logical.

New single "Loud Music" will be released June 14. :) Details from tonight's webcast (recorded here if you want to watch): - The new album (title + release date known, but yet to be revealed) will have twelve tracks. A thirteenth track, "Through The Radio," which was intended for her Everything Comes and Goes album, will also be included (perhaps as a "secret" track that is contained at the end of another track).
- Fall release date for album (I'd guess August, considering the June single release)
- The album will be pop/rock in genre; country music will stay under The Wreckers's name, will Michelle's solo work will be pop/rock-oriented.
- "Mastermind" was named as one of the tracks on the album.
- Michelle wants to get a tattoo of a ship on her back after the album release; she got one after each release andgot one of a cowgirl after working with The Wreckers--symbolic, perhaps, of the title?
In the webcast, "Loud Music" plays at about 13:07 and 32:33. :)

She had some nice things to say about Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. I so knew someone was gonna ask her what she thought of them.

Time to change the thread title: As confirmed by Michelle on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz" this morning, the album is titled West Coast Time and will be released in September! Possible lyrics from the title track, as posted here: Whether it’s rain or shine,You’re always right here on my mind,I’m always two steps behind,Living on west coast time. The thirteen tracks that we know of: Loud MusicSparks The Story Of Us What Don't Kill Ya Dear Life Dancing (I Don't Feel Like) Happen To Call Smoke And Feathers Through The Radio Mastermind West Coast Time Getaway?
