Already a bona fide star here in her homeland & in the UK, Delta Goodrem's US assault officially begins this week with the release of single 'Lost Without You' to radio stateside. Billboard magazine's latest review hails her as a "tigress of talent." Delta Goodrem's highly-awaited launch into the US market kicks off this week with the release of single 'Lost Without You' to radio stateside, as the Australian singing/songwriting sensation gears up to win over yet another nation of music lovers with her gorgeous pop ballads. An album comprising of songs from Delta's 14 x Platinum debut 'Innocent Eyes' and her latest album 'Mistaken Identity' will be released in America later in the year, and if this review from Billboard Magazine this week is any indication, the US - like the rest of the world - are soon set to fall for Delta's musical magic... Lost Without You "Aussie singer/songwriter Delta Goodrem joins a short list of entertainers with the goods to endure for as long as she chooses. U.S. debut single 'Lost Without You' is a powerful, piano-driven anthem with super-glue hooks, radiant vocals and tempo-flourishing acoustic production. At home, Goodrem is the most acclaimed new female singer in history: seven No. 1 singles and eight Australian Record Industry Assn. Awards, all in little more than a year. Now, after nearly as long in development stateside, Columbia launches this tigress of talent. She's gorgeous and graceful, youthful and she writes and plays...boy, is the United States primed for a true, gimmick-free talent. Welcome 2005's best new artist." Chuck Taylor, Billboard www.billboard.comI say top 20 atleast.

I sure hope it grows more on people, as it's still in the process on me. Sadly, I don't think this'll do much, but I certainly hope I'm wrong.

I am glad that this song is finally going for adds in the U.S.! I prefer the original version over the new version.

She kinda sucks. I've heard her music and it's kind of bland although she has a pretty good voice. This will most likely flop.

Her second album is much better. It's brillant. Download the songs Mistaken Identity and A Little Too Late. But apparently they are trying to get her onto Oprah.

It's a nice song, but doesn't live up to the colossal hype.

I really liked "Almost Here" with Brian McFadden...but I doubt that'll ever be released here.

I was a huge fan during her 1st album era, but after it took several months for the first single from the 2nd album to grow on me, I wasn't willing to give that album a chance. I got her first album (online) the day it was released! I'll wait until album #2 is on Ebay for $5 AU to buy it.

Filos, She wrote the songs for the 2nd album during her cancer adventure (she was only 21) and you can feel the fear, emotional ups and downs and her love for life in the lyrics and melody of the songs. It is not a commercial album for sure ... more like a personal thing, but after listening the whole thing a few times I liked it a lot! She is a beautiful girl with great talent. I hope this will do well!

Mistaken Identity got really great reviews, much better than Innocent Eyes. I own both albums and MI is more mature and much, much better. Download some songs then judge, but there is no doubting MI is the better, its just a personal choice on which you like more.

I think there is a choice on which is better and believe it or not, I know a LOT of people that were disappointed in the second album. Its just....not good to me (and to several others) I know a lot of people DO like it, but its not a fact that its so much better. Thats your opinion.

the aussie starlett (1 in every 18 people own a copy of her first album alone!!) is coming over to the states to promote the album after she finishes her sold out tour in Australia!
that can only but help its success!

I really hope that this does well. This song is good. It's the best one i've heard from her and the other songs that i've heard from her were from Mistaken Identity. What were the singles for her first album?

"Born to Try", "Lost Without You", "Innocent Eyes", "Not Me, Not I", and "Predictable" (?) -- not necessarily in that order.

Is the video out yet here? I'm surprised VH1 isn't all over this as they usually are with huge international acts trying to break the states.
