This is country music's version of "Seinfeld", a song about nothing, but I still like it though. It's fairly catchy and Josh's booming voice sounds as great as ever. This was probably the best choice, considering the album was fairly weak for single choices. This should have a good chance at T10, then hopefully Josh will have some new music for us.

I did love him, but after Another Try, I don't find myself caring enough to listen to the new song.

yea this album was pretty weak...this is one of my two favorite off the album and should hit top 10. the other being "nowhere fast" but i don't think that would do well at country radio!

I like this song, but I don't know if it has a strong enough hook to make it a likely top-10 song on country radio; I've always thought of it as more of an album track. I see it more as a song that will amble into the top-20 but stall once there. I think the song from Josh's current album that stands the best chance of making the top-10 is "The Longer the Waiting (The Sweeter the Kiss)." That one should have been the 2nd single, in my view, but I can see why it isn't the 3rd, since they might not want to follow a ballad with another ballad. If they wanted to go uptempo, I'm wondering why they didn't go with "So Not My Baby." I like "Everything Is Fine" better, but "So Not My Baby" is more of a standout song.
I absolutely love "Nowhere Fast," and probably my favorite song among all those I first heard in 2007. But I agree with dunny1286 that it isn't likely to make an impression on country radio. Pity.

this is a good song. but i personally LOVED "So Not My Baby". i wish that were released instead. another song i liked was "The Longer The Waiting" but i knew that wouldn't be released because they wouldn't do 2 slow songs in a row. hopefully this will hit the top 5

This is country music's version of "Seinfeld", a song about nothing. Hahaha! Even so, this is a lot better than most other stuff out there. I don't know why I haven't bought the album yet; maybe all the blah reviews from the Pulsers.

Well I like this song and it's a great choice for the next single. It's just a relaxing song for me that makes me feel good.

I love this song, but I do agree that this probably isn't the best choice. I would have gone with "One Woman Man" or "So Not My Baby". As for the album, I can say without a doubt that it's one of the 10 best country albums from 2007. There are only two fillers ("Soulmate" and "Baby I Go Crazy") and even those are not all that bad. Meanwhile the highlights ("The Longer The Waiting" and "Nowhere Fast") are just sublime. Come on, those mean folks at the9513 gave this album 4 1/2 stars, what more validation could you ask for?

I don't know why I haven't bought the album yet; maybe all the blah reviews from the Pulsers. Well, apparently, you've been ignoring my posts. This album is absolutely fantastic and my favorite of 2007. Not a bad song on the album. Another Try should have been huge and maybe it would have peaked higher if it had a non-summer run. I do like Everything Is Fine but was hoping for So Not My Baby as the next single. But make no mistake about it, I thoroughly enjoy this cd and highly recommend it to anyone! (Now go out and buy a copy.)

Yes, I agree with "Nowhere Fast" being an AMAZING track! I can even get over my dislike of Jamie Foxx to enjoy the song.

Not a bad song but I don't see it becoming a big hit.

I really like his album. Not sure what I think about this song as the new single, but it is a good track. I really like the duet with Anthony Hamilton, but do not feel it should be a single at country radio. I would have preferred So Not My Baby, Baby I Go Crazy, or One Woman Man, if Josh were trying solely for radio success.

Hmmn, maybe I need to go back and listen to the album again, because I found it kind of disappointing considering how great Your Man was. I do wish that Josh would've released his version of One Woman Man though, Josh does a terrific job with that song.

This is one of my top 5 albums of the year. My favorite song is The Longer The Waiting but I would rather see it left as an album tract because I dont think it would do good as a single. Maybe this song will get him back in the top 10.

This is a really surprising choice. I wish they went with "So Not my baby". That one is awesome! this song is kinda boring...

I'm surprised this is moving so slowly. It's only at #46 after 5 weeks, and it looks like it will need another two weeks to crack the top 40.

Not sure if anyone else feels this way, but I think Josh Turner may be done. Don't what you mean by JT may be "done"?? I like this song and have heard that Josh is filming a video for it this week. However, I think they probably should have gone with So Not My Baby or The Longer The Waiting (my favorite) instead.

Career over, yes. I think with the under-performing of Another Try and the slow move of this song, just maybe. Prove me wrong JT.

ontheroadwith seems to have the same patience with Turner that Al Davis has with his head football coaches...
Other singers have survived and then thrived after worse showings than what Another Try had, and the start of EIF. It takes more than two, or three, or four bad showings in a row to sink a country music career.
I doubt Turner will ever move up to the mega-star level, that Brad, Kenny, and Carrie occupy, but he can make a decent living on the next-highest level, roommates with Dierks Bentley, Phil Vassar, Gary Allan, and Blake Shelton.
