Where did all of these Faith fans come from? I'd assume they've always been here. She's been in the business 1993, she must have some fans still around. I like this song, and I hope it brings good things to Faith. It'd be nice to hear songs other than "This Kiss" and "Breathe" on the radio again. Hopefully this will create enough buzz so when the lead single off her new album is released she'll have a leg to stand on at country radio.

I wouldn't worry about that. She's been in the business for 15 years. I'm sure she's aquired a ton of fans that stay loyal to her.

Oh, I agree! "Cry" was a fantastic album! "When The Lights Go Down" is one of my favorite Faith songs.

Away in the Manager is the clip being played this week.
Wait to you hear Holly Jolly Christmas just love that song and her take on it. It really has that old time feel to it. Reminds me the way Christmas albums used to be, the Rosemary, Bing Crosby feel, that big band sound. I think this album is going to be a huge hit with the people that remember the older Christmas albums.

He meant where did all the Faith fans come from on THESE boards. I think it's a good question, I've been wondering the same thing the past few days.

why wont country play Faith? Too much mainstream success? Probably because she put out the great but very radio-unfriendly "Stealing Kisses", then followed up with the gratingly cliché "Lost" and the just plain weird "Red Umbrella"? Couldn't have said it better.

Except The Hits was kinda dissappointing for me, summing up a 14 year career in 15 songs was not a good idea. Here's the cover for A Baby Changes Everything

I was a bit disappointed that they didn't include more songs; "Take Me As I Am," "Let's Go To Vegas," "Someone Else's Dream," "Just To Hear You Say That You Love Me," "Like We Never Loved at All," etc. should've all been on there, IMO. It still baffles me why they put "I Need You" on The Hits when there was so much better material for them to choose from.

I guess I loved The Hits so much because it gave me the live version of Stronger. One of my favorite Faith songs ever!

I'm not a big country music fan, I listen to Willie Nelson, Ryan Adams, Keith Urban, Reba, LeAnn etc., but something I can't explain is my overstated love for Faith Hill. She's such a gorgeous and strong woman.

I love Faith Hill and wish this song the best. She is the only other country singer who I see as one of the top vocalists across all genres. I wish her the best.
I was pissed when "Like We Never Loved At All" wasn't on The Hits. It was her best song to date, IMO.

This is agreat vocal from Faith. I just wish it was a reord of all new material instead of a holiday record, but I will always take any new music from Faith.

It sounded so epic live I'm not too big on belting unless it's done right. I heard her do "Stronger" on Letterman one night and my first thought was, that's when it's okay to belt. I would love to hear her do a soul album, provided she doesn't lay down a pseudo-rap beat á la "There Will Come a Day".

I can't wait to see how well this does. I have a feeling that it won't do very well. I sure hope I'm wrong. Anyway, I wish Faith all the luck in the world. She definately deserves to be back on top.

Let me just put it this way and I don't mean it in a bad way but if Carrie had relased this song it would go right to number #1. I do like Faith a lot better but their voices are not so far apart that that would be a big difference. We understand that an artist out as long as Faith, that her career will slow down. Just like Carrie, Taylor ect will at some point. It's normal. Takes nothig away from all the success that she has had or how well she sings. It's just the bussiness.

Stellar vocals on this one, but the song is definately not radio material and will most likely not be played much. It is 4:56 and that's a bit long for radio, they could have done some cutting here and there to reduce the time.
However, I love the message of the song, especially the end part. Great song and she kills it, it's just unlikely this will do anything and that's unfortunate. We need more material like this, good stuff.
