Maybe they are actually going to try and promote this and anticipating it doing well. It would be great to see Sara back on the upper half of the charts, but I'm not sure this is the song to do it.
Either way, I love Sara and can't wait for her next full album.

Wow, Sara looks stunning in the video. Great song, too.

This is really, really good. I think if the label pushes it enough, this could be a #1 song. How's it doing so far?
PS, the video's great!

It's not doing the best. I wouldn't even say it's doing well.
I just REALLY hope SOMETHING happens with this song.

Yes. This is exactly what I want from her. Not the overproduced, messy John Shanks crap. She has a great hard-country voice, so why not have her do hard-country? SEE: Three Chords and The Truth She failed at the hard core country thing even though she was critically acclaimed as the new Patsy Cline. I have been Sara's worse critic lately because of her live performances but her studio work is good if not great. This song is okay and should get some play.

Even with a few poor live performances, Sara is still one of the strongest female vocalists in music today, any genre. She deserves to be much bigger than she is.

She failed at the hard core country thing even though she was critically acclaimed as the new Patsy Cline. I was fine with her pop-edged country from 1998-2004ish. "Born to Fly" had a country edge to it even though it was pop-ish at the same time. "Suds in the Bucket" was easily her countriest effort in years, and it was a #1. "Fool, I'm a Woman" could've been a hit for Lorrie Morgan if not for the high notes (which even Sara couldn't hit). But since Worley stopped working for RCA, she's been working with other producers with varying success. Except for "Coalmine", she and her producers have been just making everything so muddy by cranking the bass up to 11 and compressing everything else. If songs like "Born to Fly" and "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" are any evidence, she can be straight-up country pop without having to rely on such overproduction. And as this song shows, she can do straight-up hardcore country as well.
