For now Duff is sifting through video treatments for her second single, "Beat of My Heart," which she'll shoot at the end of the month.

From her Most Wanted album? Yes. I like this better than "Wake Up", but it's still overly repetitive. She should've released "Break My Heart", but it's too late now, and she can't afterwards, because of the similarity of the titles of the two songs "Supergirl". (On second listen, I realized that "Break My Heart" is also extremely repetitive.)

BOOKED: Hilary Duff - Phil Harder, director
Have you ever thought that teen pop queen Hilary Duff would make a fine Bond girl? Well, her next video may be the answer to your dreams. Director Phil Harder places the singer in a series of vignettes directly inspired in part by the famed opening sequences from James Bond movies.
artist: Hilary Duff song: "Beat Of My Heart" label: Hollywood director(s): Phil Harder production co: Harder-Fuller rep: Labuda Management

Finally heard this. I like it and all, but I don't think it will do much. She worked with Joel Madden on three songs. I was hoping at least one of them would be wannabe-rockish.

the rhyming is off da chain! I hope you're being sarcastic. If not, what rhyming? about, out, out around, found, sound change, strange, range down, around, drown stance, chance, dance feel, real, deal *all rhyming words*

Maybe Hilary wants to record the next Bond song then? ;)
This song doesn't fit a "Bond" opening.

Don't like this, I think Hilary Duff's best single was "Fly" which didn't do so hot, I really don't know if she ever stands a chance at getting another Pop hit, but Radio Disney will never turn her down!

I totally forgot about it, but is that "Material Girl" cover still happening with Lil' Jon?
Or was that just a stupid rumor (the Lil Jon one.)
When is that movie coming out??

I actually like this. So much better than "Wake Up'. The videos okay too. She doesn't look as ugly as she really is.

this song is so repetitive people will be begging radio to NOT play it. I haven't seen the video yet but I don't see how her voice or this song could ever fit a Bond theme.

The video is pretty good. But yeah the song is too repetitive. And DAMNNNNN. She was soooooo skinny on TRL. I miss the old Hil.

I could see this being a club hit, but not a radio hit. However, I think this suits her voice well and I wouldn't be disappointed if she became a huge star in club land.

I like it, it's a litte repetitive but it's ok. I like that she's belting and staying in her range. It's a nice song

I always hated her though I liked some of her songs but Beat Of My Heart is just annoying, boring, bad, just wrong.

When does this go for adds? The video is already a #1 smash on TRL.

Umm this is horrible lol. Looks like Billboard agrees... Beat of My Heart HILARY DUFF Producer(s): Dead Executives Genre: POP Label: Hollywood (CD promo)Hilary Duff's No. 1 platinum album "Most Wanted" certainly cemented the singer/actress in the current pop culture pantheon. But new single "Beat of My Heart" seems to toss her back to her Disney days. Pop music is always appreciated, but this is a kiddie anthem, plain and simple, so repetitive and childlike in its lyric ("the beat of my heart" is repeated 44 times in three minutes) that it is hardly a contender for contemporary radio. We've come to expect better. Hil, what happened? —Chuck Taylor
