Yeah, this album's days at the top are numbered. The GH totally killed its catalog sales.

I have this on cassette. Great stuff! Haven't given it a listen in years though.

I remember seeing this album on the charts as soon as it charted in the US, but as far as I can tell, I only heard a single from it over here in the Summer of 1998 ("You're Still the One"). Fast forward one year, and she's EVERYWHERE, first with "That Don't Impress Me Much", then with "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!". This delayed international success allowed this album to have a crazy longevity, in the US and worldwide. On a highly critical note, though, I have to say that "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)" is one of the worst song I have ever heard in my whole life.

I own the "International" version with all of the hits "pop" remixed. The really should have left "Man I Feel Like A Woman" alone. The country mix of the song is tight, for some reason.

This is still one of my favorite albums of all time. 16 tracks, and not a filler among them, IMO.

This album is awesome but "Up!" is surprisingly better! Yeah, I love this album to death, but I love Up! and find myself listening to it even more than that, which kinda sounds humanly impossible, doesn't it?

I hate that her label had to screw its catalog sales with that GH!

the singles are ace "You're Still The One" & "That Don't Impress Me Much" are some of the best songs of the 90's i owned both versions of this album, my parents bought me the pop version because the person at best buy said since i was a kid i'd like it better even though i specifically told my parents to get the one where she has the red shirt on smh

I was in the UK when this came out. You just blew my mind that that was the actual album cover. I always assumed the international album cover was the original and only cover.

I just recently rediscovered this, such an amazing album. I perfer some of the mixes on the pop version, but I think the track-list is much better organized on the country one.
Anyway, both versions of the album are great, and there's not one bad song.

"You're Still the One" WILL be my wedding song.
I love this album. It really plays like a greatest hits record.

I always found it ironic people would use "You're Still The One" as a wedding song, "From This Moment On", I can't even remember how many times as a kid I heard that one as the first wedding dance song! I always find myself going back to this album. It had SO many GREAT songs even if a lot of them had corny lyrics.

I remember that the teachers were on strike when this album came out, so I went and got it the day it came out. I was in Grade 7 at the time. This is one of the only albums that I've ever bought that I needed to get a second copy because I literally wore the first one out. I remember when it came out that the local country station (which has since switched to being a CHR) played the album in its entitety every night at 9 pm for at least a week. The "Best Album Era" thread got me thinking about this again, and it really is one of (if not the) best eras that I can ever remember.
