I actually prefer her voice to Jessica's now. Jessica's voice used to be great, until her third album (In This Skin). From the clip, it sounds better than anything Jessica has released since the song "Irresistable" (although there were lots of great pop songs on that album that weren't released (e.g. - "There You Were" & "Hot Like Fire"). "Pieces of Me" was a really great song, and this song doesn't sound as promising on first listen, but I hope radio gives it a chance. It sounds better than half the stuff radio plays.

Well, it's better than I thought it would be. I'll either grow to hate it or love it.

Two clips from 2 songs are up at www.ashleesimpson.netI like LOVE and the other song. LOVE is a perfect first single choice.

LOVE is a perfect first single choice. Agreed. It's ensured to annoy people so much that it completely kills her career. Brilliant choice Ashlee!

Calm down on the rolls eye smiley. One time would have conveyed the message, I'm not mentally retarded. I'm talking about the U.S., not worldwide... granted Britney is the bigger "celebrity" but I highly doubt she will have another hit after the atrocious songs she has released lately. lol buddy I feel bad for you. You're sitting here telling us Britney released atrocious songs when you're in an Ashlee thread? At least Britney can sing and has way better songs than Ashlee and her stupid sister can only hope of writing.

Not to mention that "Autobiography" went to #1 before any of Jessica's albums.
BTW, the track is ok. It will have to grow on me.

OMG. What the hell is this?
This is awful. It's like the Spice Girls trying to copy a Gwen Stefani song. I had low expectations but this is so bad that it's making my head hurt.

i like "Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend" more than "L.O.V.E." right now! i think its b/c when she says L-O L-O L-O it sounds like she's trying to say hello in a british accent and that bothers me. i think it might grow on me the more i hear it buut on first listen "Didn't Steal Your Boyfriend" sounds MUCH more "her" and very good, imo!

I'm actually suprised with this ... i've looked on other forums and i would say 80% of the reactions are positive.

I just heard a bunch of Ashlee songs on Promosquad. This one wasn't the worst, and that's about the highest compliment it's worthy of. Yes, it's annoying as hell and she sounds like a Teletubby in the chorus, but when compared to the sheer torture of the song about what she would do if she were a guy or the one about coming back as a blonde, it somehow doesn't seem quite as excruciating.

They weren't labeled with her name, but after I clicked the link in the Promosquad Song Alert e-mail I got, I heard 6 songs. The first one was "L.O.V.E," but that wasn't the title that was displayed (there was also a song with the words "didn't steal your boyfriend" in the chorus, but that wasn't the title displayed). All 6 songs had fairly similar production style and seemed to feature the same squeaky/raspy female voice, so I assumed that they were all Ashlee.
