"Feed Me" Singles1) "Aftermath" (#69 UK) 2) "Ponderosa" (?) 3) "Overcome" (#34 UK) 4) "Black Steel" (#28 UK) 5) "Hell Is Round the Corner" (as part of The Hell EP (#12 UK) 6) "Pumpkin" (#26 UK) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is probably my favourite of the 'big' trip hop albums released in the first half of the 90's. It's probably because I find it the most rhythmically satisfying. I hadn't listened to it in ten years, I think, but after giving it a spin last week, I'm HOOKED at the moment. It peaked at #3 in the UK, where it went gold (for 100k units shipped). A no show on US charts.

- The b-sides are interesting, but some of them are still missing. - WTF @ the rough monitor mixes. Unnecessary. - The new versions of "Overcome", "Hell" and "Steel" are nice enough, but they can't hold a candle to the originals. - The remastering wasn't really necessary, as the 1995 CD still sounds great. All in all, I have no need to replace my copy. Now, if only he decided to reissue the long out of print Nearly God EP... :(

I remember this guy for Evolution Revolution Love more, but this might've had some songs on Alternative.
