I'm sort of surprised this didn't crack the top 15 on pop or on the overall Hot 100. At least it wasn't a total flop...

Does anyone know where this officially peaked on rhtyhmic? I have #39 down but I am missing a week. Can anyone fill in the ?'s i have in my chart history for this song? thanks:
Chr/Rhythmic Debuted February 3, 2006 Fell off March 10, 2006 (5 weeks) 49-43-?-39-45-Off
AND for "Luxurious": Mediabase Chr/Pop Debuted October 21, 2005 39-28-22-18-16-13-10-10-10-10-11-20-28-37-41-?-42-41-42
Mediabase Chr/Rhythmic Debuted October 28, 2005 37-27-24-22-18-16-14-13-12-17-19-22-30-40-?-46-48-42
Anyone else notice that towards the end of "Crash"s chart run, radio started to pick up on "Luxurious" again. The latter hung around a lot longer than most expected.

I personally think this did really well for a sixth single, considering how Gwen is not promoting it, as well as her pregnant status. What an amazing run for LAMB.

I understand it's the 6th single so I'm cutting her a bit of slack... But, how was this not a total flop lol? It BARELY cracked Top 20 (for 1 update) and then plummeted afterwards. Not that it really matters, but I'm just saying.

You could call this a disappointment compared to the successes of Luxurious, Cool and Hollaback Girl but not a flop!
They all had the plus sides of promo from Gwen and more attention from the label looking for another hit. Crash was more of something thrown out there and it was picked up without all the help the other singles had. It went Top 20, even if for only a update it was there.
If it hadn't gone Top 40 or more sure I'd consider this a flop, and I'm sure this would have done a lot better had Gwen been available for promo etc.

I wouldn't exactly call "Luxurious" a success either. It wasn't a complete flop, but it sure as hell didn't do that well.

Where did it peak on those respective charts? I see it managed to last 20 weeks on the Hot 100...

The record company gave up on "Luxurious" way too early IMHO and also pushed this too early...

#10 on Pop. Didn't it go Top 10 on Rhythmic too?

^^ I'm not sure why radio was so quick to drop "Luxurious" along with Mariah's DFAU... both of those songs should have had more longevity... Mariah's song had near 2000 spin drops... remarkably after the drops, it actually started rising again in spins for a time!

^Mariah never had a rise in spins after it dropped. Its drops stopped from being so big, but it never regained a bullet. Luxurious did.

Not that bad considering a 6th single everyone already had the album and barely any downloads which are a big influence in it. ^

In the non published day-to-day numbers which I manually figure out via a spreadsheet and post now on the "Daily Movers" thread, DFAU did have a couple of days in late February where it was up a few spins... You're referring to the 7 day reports though, I would assume and you are correct if that's what you were referring to... she never actually regained her bullet...

R.I.P :(
This song is so fun, it should have been realised instead of "Cool" imo, and then "The Real thing/Luxurious".

Radio must either really hate this song or be really sick of Gwen. Although it's been off the chart for wks. now, it dropped a whopping 20 spots in only one week. LOL I've never seen a song drop so much so fast. So unfortunate. :(

"Cool" was a great single choice with a great video.
She should've released "Crash" before "Luxurious".
