I love Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson's Scream. :)
This is the only song in which Michael teams up with Janet.

Great song. Incredible video. It was more of a Michael Jackson sounding song than a Janet sounding song. It didn't perform as well as expected.
Janet doesn't plan on dueting with Michael again. She said she likes having only one song that features both of them because it makes that song more special.

Excellent song and video... you get to hear Michael curse ("stop f**king with me") and see Janet flip everyone off.

Excellent song and video... you get to hear Michael curse ("stop f**king with me") and see Janet flip everyone off. I knew a guy in college who had the uncensored version and I was quite shocked to hear him curse like that. Looking back at that now, it doesn't seem so shocking anymore.

This was definately a great song. I loved the guitar solo. Very cool video.. ripped off by TLC a few years later in "No Scrubs"

Excellent song and video... you get to hear Michael curse ("stop f**king with me") and see Janet flip everyone off. The version of the Scream video had by W08CU (now WBXK-CA) showed Janet flipping everyone off (but there was no adult language).

Good one, can't believe they spent $7 million on that video though. Couldn't they send some kids to college or something??

When did this come out, 1994, 95?
I was still not really into music that much then.
I remember the video and know what it looks like, of course, but I couldn't even recite the chorus if I had to.

This was a pretty good song. I thought the video was really cool. There was a David Morales remix that substituted the "Stop pressurin' me " with "stop f***in' with me" throughout the whole song. The version issued on the CD-5 only substitued that line during the last 2 minutes of the song. Here is a sample of that song: www.mp3search.ru/m3u.html?id=61039To hear that mentioned part, click on the link and then drag the slider in the audio player to 7:00. It's a 9 minute track. This was a good mix.

probably the biggest bust of a hyped up single in the history of POP music.
What are the odds, this song just came on XM, however this song is all right, it really was to futuristic for its time.

Scream debuted on the Hot 100 at #5 in 1995 but never went any higher during its chart run.

I love it! It's always blown me away that it wasn't a #1 hit. It had great remixes too. The single didn't get a parental advisory, but MJ and Sony put their own warning label on it. This was my favorite music video ever when it came out.

I actually think it's utterly dreadful. So much hype for such a horrible, nothingy track. Huge disappointment.

My thinking exactly. Janet's worst hit ever. And they looked scary in that video. Wasn't it one of the most expensive videos of all time?
