My best friend played this song for me when I was over at his house last weekend. I haven't heard this song for years! I must've heard it in the 70's when I was a kid. Good "Supermarket" song. That's probably where I heard this instrumental. It must have made an impression on me when I was young, because I remembered it right away. It peaked at number 38 in early 1966. On the Cashbox charts it peaked at number 42.

I remember this from January 1966, and I like it. A very happy, lively, fun sounding instrumental. An excellent piece of music. Herb Alpert was a big instrumentalist of the 1960's. He made lots of records that I like. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK5pl6W2CFE

I like him too. I have their greatest hits volumes 1 and 2. Bouncy and bright. One of my faves it The Lonely Bull.

From January, 1966 comes this excellent instrumental from Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. A pleasure to listen to. Bright and happy sounding music, that's what I like.
