Great song... one of my favorites from that year...
It also was remade as a Country hit in 1997 by Kevin Sharp and also hit #1 on that chart...

I like it. I like the country version better, but this is still good.

It had fair airplay on R&B radio back in late 1995 to early 1996. I remember hearing 102.3 KJLH playing it a lot two months before the album was released in January 1996. The Beat in Los Angeles which rarely broken from away from Hip Hop & R&B starting playing the song in regular rotation during the week of January 15, 1996 after giving it a few test spins during it's Night Beat program two months prior. The Beat played the urban remix more during the day though. I still love song but where is The Tony Rich Project these days?

So gorgeously sad. I still love it. This sums it up perfectly. So sad, but so perfect as well. One of those songs that can perfectly capture somebody's emotions. This guy was always one of my favorite one hit wonders of the '90s, I always thought the "project" part of his name was really cool. I liked this song when I discovered it but appreciate it more nowadays, largely because I relate to it more.

I remember this song, but really??? All these years, I really thought Babyface sang this song. I'm honestly surprised by this. Either way...this is such a 90s classic.

Me too. I knew Babyface produced the track but I though he sung it. This song was everywhere on the radio. Just about every station I could think of that would play a song like this: Top 40 (B96), Urban (WGCI, V013), and AC (Lite FM 93.9 and 100.3). I think the defunct smooth jazz station WNUA 95.5 played it too. This was good but not my all-time favorite among adult contemporary/R&B tracks of the 90s.

This is my favorite "I miss you" song. I definitely thought Babyface sang it back in the day.

This is my favorite "I miss you" song. I definitely thought Babyface sang it back in the day. Iβm playing this song right now. This song is the best R&B song of the 90βs. KJLH and The Beat in LA played this for awhile in the early part of 1996 according to Radio & Records.

I heard it quite often back in 95 or 96. Itβs still a good song.
