I love when a big artist comes with such a fresh, different direction. So what you're saying is that you've never heard "Get Me Bodied"?

JUST WOWWWWW!! :o :o At this point, her bar is approx 2.5 times that of LYL's which sold 166k this week. If she keeps this up, she's looking at 330k PLUS in digital sales. Amazing! lol you never trust pop bars to that extent when measuring, you cant judge it that way i mean Womanizer's bars its its first days were 2x that of LYL, and that sold 330k the week before but britney didnt sell 600k..., it wont sell over 300k, but 200-250k is likely... Got to disagree, Itunes pop bars are very indicative of a songs sales at that specific moment in time. Since you used Womanizer and LYL as an example, I went and got the pop bars and their total sales ending the week of October 13th: -- 1 SPEARS*BRITNEY WOMANIZER 285782 999 0 285782 1 2 T.I. FEAT. RIHANNA LIVE YOUR LIFE 225863 -32 334520 560383 Britney was outselling TI approx 1.2:1 (not 2 to 1), and when you look at their sales that week (285 000:225 000), it is pretty much was identical to that ratio. Its obvious that TI's sales would decrease from his debut of 330k so that's why Britney wouldn't debut with 600k or w.e. So back to SL, if TI's sales decrease to about 150-160k, and Bee maintains her lead of about 2.2:1, she will sell well over 300k. Some if's in there though.

Remember there are two versions of Live Your Life though, and iTunes is not the only digital retailer so it's not as clean-cut as that.

im so amused how many fan-made versions of the video are out there now. i had originally thought the choregraphy was super hard, but everyone seems to be able to do it!

You'd count that one Tonya Harding posted as 'being able to do it'?

Remember there are two versions of Live Your Life though, and iTunes is not the only digital retailer so it's not as clean-cut as that. Of course it isn't that rigid, but there is still some truth in the pop bars. The fact is currently SL is selling 2 times as many copies as LYL is (on itunes), and SL must be selling well on other outlets too. And yeah I took into account LYL's two versions, and SL is still more than 2x its bar. Next week will tell all anyway.

I love how SL is beginning to overtake LYL on many urban radio countdowns, a sign foreshadowing what's to come on the Hot 100!

I think Single Ladies will sell between 250-290,000 copies, which combined with her airplay should give it enough points to claim the #1 spot next week. However if she sells anything less than 250,000 (which I don't see happening) it will be too close to call.

WOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!! Great success with this one, Bee! Definitely Pop HAD to embrace this song after all this success. Besides, that whole idea of ballads to Pop, parties to Urban was too forced This may break a sales record this week :o However, I thought I was reading another thread when I saw these adjectives: Fresh? different? #1 material? Gem? etc, etc Come on! It's a catchy tune but not thaaaat good :)

I knew Sasha would win! Next up Halo vs. Diva, that should be fun to watch.
And SL is not becoming a phenomenon it IS a phenomenon. Yesterday I saw video and/or song featured on CNN, Inside Edition, The View, and Ugly Betty!

This is definately a grower. I might end up liking it more than 'If I Were A Boy'.
