It's like when they pushed Kylie's single around the US release of the album and not in advance of it. If you know it's not going to do much, at least be careful with the timing, dammit! f**k EMI, or what's left of it... >:( Exactly, I was one of the 6,000 people to buy X on 1 April 2008 in the US, and boy did it flop, #136 ish. All I See was all wrong to have as the lead single, they could've used 2 Hearts even, but Wow would've been the way to go as they originally intended. As for Lily, sorry sweetie, the US is waaaaay to stupid to appreciate your music, on a large scale anyway, but there are loyalists out there, like yours truly.

She managed to sell half a million copies of her debut in the US -- nothing to sneeze at, especially these days. That alone is more than enough reason for Capitol to put some time, money, and energy into the promotion of this project.

Alright, Still went Gold, so all is not lost.
Also I think it's smart to time the single release with the album... It won't be big enough to create huge "hype" or anticipation for the release most likely, so might as well make sure the album's already in stores when people hear/like the song.

This song is awesome, and I hope it becomes a hit in the US. It'd really be a breath of fresh air to hear this song next to some mediocre overplayed hits, and unlike most, I think this song'll still sound just as good on the thousandth listen as the first.

The Fear is a great song, but i don't think it fits today's CHR format. Hope I'm wrong. I could actually see it doing well at AAA.

"Smile" did what it needed to do: it motivated plenty of people to buy the album. It would have been great for it to become a bonafide smash on its own, but it was by no means a failure.

This song is just infectious. I think it has potential to become at least a moderate hit in the US.

Yeah. Lily Allen wants to be Oprah rich, LOL. GET IT! Wow, this is grounds for a head explosion, when several of my favorite celebs appear together, My head explodes, it happened on the episode of Kathy Griffin's show when Margaret Cho appeared, and then Cyndi Lauper, it was pretty intense
