The handwritten list on the previous page is very close, but not the exact setlist (or order). Kylie had a lot of love to give, and it felt like the crowd returned it tenfold. All in all, a fantastic return for her to the States.
If I were to attempt to match the pictures above to the songs, I'd guess: 1) Light Years 2) Wow 3) Kids 4) Come Into My World 5) Like a Drug 6) Speakerphone 7) Slow 8) Red Blooded Woman 9) Vogue

Apparently she just ripped off Gaga's lunatic style?

I hate it when people say this. She has been doing this theatrical meets space cowgirl look since 2000. When she went back to her disco roots. And the tour was around almost before Gaga took off (the Euro/Australian legs.) I LOVE me some Gaga but Kylie isn't copying anyone.
I do want to know, does Kylie still dance in her shows, since her cancer her body hasn't been as fit (still very sexy though.)

She did a few steps here and there, particularly in CGYOOMH and Speakerphone, but not too much dancing on her part.

Minogue set for Vegas residencyKylie Minogue is set to follow in the footsteps of Dame Shirley Bassey and Celine Dion by staging a Las Vegas residency. The Aussie pop star has been thrilling fans in the US this month, with her first North American tour. And the Spinning Around hitmaker has been approached to perform a string of shows in Sin City when her current trek finishes, according to her sister Dannii. She tells the Daily Mirror newspaper, “The response from her shows in America have been phenomenal. They love her out there. She was nervous about going over for the first time, but it has gone better than she expected. “She has now been asked to take the show back to Vegas and extend it as a residency over there. I’m so proud of her. Kylie’s show is perfect for Vegas, it’s so theatrical. She has loved performing out there.” The 41 year old performed to a sell-out crowd in Vegas at the weekend, delighting celebrity fans including Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt. uk.news.launch.yahoo.com/dyna/article.html?a=/09102009/364/minogue-set-vegas-residency.html&e=l_news_dm-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Interesting, but could it work? I mean, she's not that well known in the US.

I saw the Vegas show last week and the Toronto show tonight. Toronto is her only arena stop on the tour. The put the floor and the lower bowl on sale and it basically sold out (about 10,000 people, or about 5x the capacity of all the other shows - aside from the LA show - she is doing on this tour). My LiveNation contact told me that they were VERY pleased with ticket sales. I had fourth row floor. The show was crazy good and the crowd response was insane. I think she is definitely going to make Toronto a stop on all her international tours from here on out. She should have booked Madison Square Garden in NYC instead of the three shows at the smaller venue. For the crowd request, there was obvious consensus: Your Disco Needs You. I know she did it at the Chicago show, but here the brass trio was brought out and the band did the entire arrangement with them (not acappella). Absolutely f**king awesome. She did the whole "Are you ready to go to the opera?" thing from the X Tour and then f**king killed it vocally. I got goosebumps. She spent a lot more time on stage at the end versus Vegas. I think she was surprised and touched by the number of people who came out for her. Someone passed her a Canadian flag and she wrapped herself in it during 2 Hearts ("I'm in love!"). In Vegas, someone passed her their baby during Can't Get You Out of My Head and she sang to the child - that was fun. Yes, I think the Toronto show was the one to beat. MUCH more dynamic than Vegas (because of the larger crowd and their involvement), and Kylie responded in kind with extended crowd banter. The new song she debuted on this tour is great - very glam rock mixed with dance. It's called "Better Than Today". "We just want tomorrow to be better than today, YEAH" I recorded the entire audio of the Toronto show so will have it for posterity. It will be interesting to hear how it sounds on the album versus this live version. There were four Steadicams at the Toronto show - I wonder if she was filming part or all of the show for a release? Kylie's voice is pitch perfect, and she does all her shows completely live. Reviews I have seen so far seem quite shocked by this (it's the norm for all her tours), but I guess that just speaks to the bulls**t that is now accepted by the mainstream American music industry. I think she is quite underrated as a vocalist primarily because of the type of music she sings. But my God, she is a damn good singer. Changes versus the Vegas show that I saw (and, I imagine, most of the theatre shows):-She had a different seat for the ballad section (an ornate couch with backing versus just sitting on the stairs) -She had more video screens -The Kylie Canada 2009 poster was on sale at the merch table instead of the US version -There was only one encore instead of two (she combined The One, Your Disco Needs You and Love At First Sight into one encore) Dancers and costuming were all the same.

Her LA show was also amazing. It had 10,000+ also. The Hollywood bowl can hold 17,000. The crowd was really into the show. Its one of the best shows I've seen :)

It was an incredible show last night at the ACC! I was third row on the floor with my friend (We were sitting towards the right side of the stage). We were so excited when she was waving the Canadian flag during the middle of show. This guy and I had so much fun chanting "disco, disco, disco"... and of course she added "Your Disco Needs You" to the setlist last night with the full band and singers and all of that! Kylie certainly had a great time with the audience. Aren't we the biggest group out of all of the North American shows? Anyhow, here are the pictures from last night: www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2593186&id=28111378&l=ea65aceaeb

Great review! I think the mention of "guide vocals" was not warranted, though (although the reviewer acknowledged that they were very minor, if they existed at all) - she had live background singers and a few pre-recorded bits that alternated with her own on certain tracks (like for Speakerphone - "Lights" / "Flashing", etc), but she wasn't singing over backing vocals. Obviously if she can sing the opera version of YDNY or the whole ballad section live, she's not gonna need backing vocals on other tracks. LOL.
