I don't think this is going to go to #1. The-Dream has never established himself at pop radio, and Urban artists generally don't do all that well on iTunes unless they're a crossover artist. I doubt just having Mariah's name on this is going to do much for it considering Mariah's only had two big download hits (one being "We Belong Together" and the other being a lead single). Additionally, the album is being released only a couple of weeks after this goes for adds. I don't see it being anywhere near big enough at that point in time that people will be downloading this in such large numbers that it would be able to rocket to #1 with only a couple of weeks of airplay. The first step is to see if this even becomes a decent sized pop hit. If they release this as the second single for Urban and Rhythmic, I can see it doing very well at those two formats especially Rhythmic, but this is still up in the air for me at pop. The-Dream is not really an established artist, and the hook is the same few words over and over. Urban and Rhythmic listeners will appreciate the vibe of the song and the nostalgic sound it has, but pop listeners don't buy into that as often.

Listening right now. I am a huge Dream fan. I think this is just okay after my first listen.
Rockin' That Shit is def. the better choice I think.

I don't think this is going to go to #1. Oh I don't either, for the reasons you listed.

I agree with Black Moses. This will go the same path as L.O.V.E, maybe a lil lower than that.

I agree that this is definitely better than the singles released from MC2.
This could be a hit.

This is ok. It's WBT meets TMB meets LITC Pt. II, but pleasing on the whole.

Now this is the kind of ballad Mariah needed to have on her album. I agree. She really needed to have a song like this on her album, which consists of some of the hottest uptempos she's ever done and some of her weakest midtempos/ballads to date.

I'll jump on the "it's sounds like WBT" bandwagon. I think it will land in the Top 40 like The-Dream's two singles. Lucky if it ends up Top 20. This is nice for the spring just like Touch My Body.

This is pretty good and far better than the ballads on E=MC2. Mariah is far more prominent on the track than I expected, and I'm glad she's actually using her voice (even if she sounds a bit hoarse). I'm not expecting this to be a hit, but I'd love to be wrong.

omfg this is gonna be huge!! i bumped it on my g5's system and wow hottness!! I predict It's gonna blow up on urban and rhythmic first then cross over to pop. You need to hear the c.d. quality version it's so addicting.

This is not good. It's too repetitive, drags on and I'm not liking how Mariah sounds. The other single choice is better imo.

Nice collabo. It could be his breakout song on pop radio.

The other single choice is better imo. I agree. I don't think "My Love" is anything better than cute.

This could have been stronger with a better hook. Otherwise, quite repetitive. I really like The-Dream, but at least he could have tweaked his style slightly for the second record. These new songs sound like complete rehashes of the last album.
