Let's hope so! It's such a change in direction for him, which is good because I Created Disco was very same-y. I love the trance influence.
This song will be MASSIVE.

Yeah, he (almost) sounds like a one-trick pony, especially if you consider his work with other artists as well. Though I'm still shocked at how well his last album as aged with me.

The UK release of the single has been moved to April 13. I'd really like to have details on the album. A title, at least, LOL.

Unfortunately he said he hasn't really started the album. This was just to keep his name out there while he finishes it :(

That's his best video so far, but that's not saying much.

I'm Not Alone is indeed hot. I'm hoping this album will be better than his debut, which I couldn't help but feel disappointed in.

Couldn't see a thread for this. Ready For The Weekend is the second album from Scottish electro producer Calvin Harris. It's due August 17. The first single from the album " I'm Not Alone" hit number one in the UK earlier this year and the title track is out the week before the album release. twitter.com/CALVINHARRIS;)

I fail at searching. Anyway, here's the single... www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0JaioIpibcLike I said in the single thread, I can't wait for this album. Mine, and it would seem everyone elses, major complaint about his first is that everything sounded the same. It seems like he's taken the criticism to heart, though, and is exploring all types of different dance genres with this one. "I'm Not Alone" sounded like classic late 90s trance and "Ready For The Weekend" sounds like early 90s house. I can't wait to hear more.

Is it meant to look identical to GaGa's?

Hot cover. Is it meant to look identical to GaGa's? I'd assume it's meant to be the 'opposite' of his debut album cover.

I've been jamming to Acceptable in the 80s again; it's such a piquant song.

"Ready for the Weekend" is set to debut at #2 on Sunday's UK singles chart. Also, I Created Disco has been spending time on the album chart lately. It originally spent ten weeks in the Top 75 upon release in the summer of 2007; it re-entered the chart in late June this year and has so far spent seven additional weeks there. The buzz is big, isn't it? ;)
That being said: leak, Ready for the Weekend, leak!
