I admit, this isn't quite nostalgia for me as I'm late to the party. It's odd. My Morning Jacket are from my area, so I got to hear "One Big Holiday" a few times while it was big, and while I liked it, it wasn't enough to get me into them. I saw them live, and they were good, and still I didn't check out any albums. Finally, earlier this year, I streamed Z on somebody's shared iTunes library. Wow! This album is actually pretty impressive. Being a generally commercial person, "Off the Record" is probably my favorite on there, but songs like "Anytime," "What a Wonderful Man," and "It Beats 4 U" aren't far behind. Here's the video for "Off the Record:" www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-izg6Mn8coAny other fans? Tracks: 1. Wordless Chorus 2. It Beats 4 U 3. Gideon 4. What a Wonderful Man 5. Off the Record 6. Into the Woods 7. Anytime 8. Lay Low 9. Knot Comes Loose 10. Dondante

I got into "Off The Record" pretty easily. My sister bought me their Okonokos DVD as a Christmas present in '07, and after watching that, and knowing of the buzz about their live act, and the realization that if you're a rock band from Kentucky that gets noticed, you gotta be good, I wouldn't mind seeing a full set of theirs in person.
