Ugh @ Adele & Robert Plant!! Estelle & Kanye performance was the best so far imo! Jonas & Stevie were good too!

Adele is much more popular, accomplished worldwide than Sullivan, not to mention, she faired pretty well here in the US. Sullivan by no means is not a mediocre artist, but really shouldn't even have been nominated. Katy Perry seriously should have been if she was.

So if you're old, have a penis, and play or have played some form of rock music you'll automatically win in your nominated categories at the Grammy awards. Got it!

that was a good record of the year, I mean I think it totalled 5 plays between all formats...real fair. It did quite well at AAA and is, in my opinion, the standout track on a critically acclaimed album that sold well. Plus, was it ever really going to be anything besides this or "Viva La Vida?" Neither of which, in my opinion, was a bad choice, predictable as they may be.

Did or does Jasmine Sullivan have any hit singles? I don't recall seing her on any of the charts besides the Urban chart. Jazmine Sullivan had a #1 hit at Urban. Where does Adele have a #1 hit at? Jazmine's "Need U Bad" was #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Adele's "Chasing Pavements" was #82 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Leona, Jazmine, and Katy get snubbed, and a song I've never heard of before gets ROTY?
It's Herbie Hancock all over again...

Not that the gammys ever had much cred, but geez
JOnas Brothers and Stevie Wonder????? My wife and I gagged over that one, that was terrible. How could Stevie do that to himself?
Robert Plant and Alison Kraus? I get the collaboration, fine, but record of the year?
Coldplay wins Rock album?
This absolutely sucks, even Coldplay's Chris Martin was embarrased over that

if you dont know Adele, there is no room to discuss. for people who only listen to POP music and the most popular, there is no place for just popularity

Grammy's continue to lessen and trash their validity.
