I just hope they release the right songs. "Questions" is an all time favorite of mine.

Lol yeah that was taking it overboard. They we're successful in the beginning with 2 back to back top 10's on the Hot 100. I'm not sure what route they should go, I felt Ugly could have blown up on Urban if released.

I think they would've become one of the more creative, dare I say cutting-edge, girl groups of their time had they managed to keep it together past one album. The stuff they worked on for Torch had hit written all over it.

I agree. Once Sylvia Rhone lost all interest in Elektra, they we're put to the backburner.

Blaque's Natina Reed Dead at 32 October 28, 2012 8:00 EDT ATLANTA - (AP) -- Authorities say R&B singer Natina Reed, known as a member of the female group Blaque, was killed after being stuck by a car in metro Atlanta. The Gwinnett County Police Department said in a news release Sunday (Oct. 28) that the 32-year-old Reed was hit late Friday (Oct. 26) while in the roadway at an intersection on U.S. 29 near Lilburn. Police say the driver called 911 for help, and someone tried to revive Reed on the scene. She was later pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center. It's unclear why Reed was in the road. Police say the driver wasn't at fault and won't be charged. Blaque's hits included "808" and "Bring It All to Me" in the late '90s. Reed was also in the movie "Bring It On," released in 2000. Reed would have turned 33 on Sunday.

Their debut and the singles from it were great. R.I.P. to Natina.

Blaque Returns With New Single The R&B group releases a single in memory of late memberby Justin Dwayne Joseph Posted: 09/23/2013 09:08 AM EDT Nearly a year has passed since rapper/singer Natina Reed, one third of the late 90s R&B group Blaque, was killed in a fatal road-side accident, and now the surviving members of the once hit group are poising a comeback, with a new single and upcoming album in celebration of her life. Shamari DeVoe, 33, and Brandi Williams, 30, have released "Summertime Ridin'," the group's first single in over a decade, and the lead single off the group's official follow-up to their 1999 self-titled album. "I know this summer has passed and we’re going into the fall, but it’s still summer wherever we are," shared Williams to YouKnowIGotSoul.com. "We always just want to show that it’s sunshine, it’s bright, it’s happy time and it’s all of that when you see Blaque. I just think it’s that type of song. It’s a feel good record, so hopefully the fans will love it.” Once trendsetters in their own right---probably attributed to the creative guidance of their late mentor Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes of TLC---"Summmertime Ridin'" falls short of the magic that made the group a hit in the late 90s and early 2000s. While the ladies would fare better producing R&B music with crossover potential (i.e their debut single "808"), the tune sounds like a desparate attempt to capture the younger (read: fickle) Bandz-A-Make-Her-Dance loving audience, and they are better than that. The yet-titled album doesn't have an official release date, but will be dedicated to the memory of Reed, who was was struck by a car while crossing the street in Lawrenceville, Georgia, just days shy of her 33rd birthday in 2012 AUDIO: soundcloud.com/youknowigotsoul/blaque-summertime-ridin/

Shamari confirmed that song is just a teaser and not their official lead single.
It's cheap and kinda corny but I like it. Reminds me of Rainbow Drive.
