Cisus Walks should take note on how this is what a song is supposed to perform by an artist like her...That way maybe Cisus can come to terms that even an artist you like can have flop songs.

I like it but don't love it. I feel it's too poppy for me, and it doesn't have the heaviness of a Ciara single. I could see it doing well tho.... any collabo w Justin will sell like crazy.

The Bottom Line Ciara is back and this time she has Justin Timberlake at her side. A spare dance beat bathed in funky, retro 70's style R&B guitar is a great foundation for the two stars to play off each other. It doesn't have the lyrical potency of "Like a Boy," but fans of sparkling dance-pop are likely to smile. Listen Pros Retro funk guitar feel Vocal magnetism between the two stars Smooth, sweet breakdown Cons Maybe a bit too light and fluffy Description Written by Justin Timberlake and Ciara Harris Produced by the Y's and Justin Timberlake Released February 2009 by Jive Records Guide Review - Ciara and Justin Timberlake - "Love Sex Magic" Ciara proved on her last album The Evolution that she is an artist who can add some meaningful depth to her songs while maintaining an overall atmosphere of fun and sexiness. "Love Sex Magic," from her upcoming third studio release Fantasy Ride, lays aside pretentions of deep meaning and instead encourages a fun-filled trip to the dance floor. Co-written and performed with Justin Timberlake, the song rides a beat that brings simultaneous echoes of 70's R&B and classic Janet Jackson. Justin Timberlake has proven himself to be one of the most valuable collaborators in the pop music industry. He has contributed to big hit singles by Black Eyed Peas, Timbaland, Madonna, and Rihanna. There is real vocal magnetism here between Ciara and Justin. You can almost feel the pair smiling through the grooves. Ciara hasn't been to the pop top 10 since her first album. That funky guitar and appearance by Justin Timberlake may be just enough to carry her back near the top of the pop chart. It is light pop dance fluff, but it may just be the fun track that will get mainstream pop audiences dancing and singing along. top40.about.com/od/singles/gr/ciaralovesex.htm

Ciara is not back. She's just riding on Justin's success.

I wonder how it could be produced by The Y's when it sounds a lot like Justin's Sexy Ladies and Madonna's Dance 2Night, both of which were produced by Timba...

Although I love Ciara, I'm not fully convinced that she is the main reason for the early success of this song. Justin's pretty much a staple at pop radio right now so I think he should get alot of credit. I mean really what Justin song/feature hasn't dont well on pop? (save Until the End of Time which peaked at #26).

People repeating themselves is the problem. The point of Justin featuring was so really LAUNCH after such struggle the past months. But many of those Pop DJ's are saying Ciara is Back right before they play it, Justin brings attention yes, we get it, that's kinda the point.

All it took was Jive getting it right as far something for them to play, something that atleast Pop radio could identify with and therefor he helped. Other than that, she's had enough success on her own where if the "right" song was released, she could do well. She is back, and hopefully never leave again.

The outfits in the music video should be like the ones from "Go Girl." Sans the wigs...

She said she's doing things to Justin lol. Diane Martel and Ciara have really good chemistry as far as showing what they want to portray visually so i can't wait.

Ciara owns this song. JT adds that nice touch, but this is funky, dirty, R&B-ish, groovy Pop. Ciara sounds great and the song is more fun and exciting than Never Ever (which is boring).

This is already doing its job by getting Ciara more attention. Just take a look at how "Never Ever" is rising on iTunes.

He is in the rare league of Rihanna, Pink and soon-to-be T.I. in which everything he touches turns to CHR gold

You don't think that having something on radio that right from the first second sounds like NOTHING on Radio right now helps?

Regardless of who's the cause, CIARA will benefit from this, "Never Ever" is already, so imagine her follow up single.
