But "It's Alright, It's OK" is only doing better when it comes to pop radio and for one obvious reason. "Sneakernight" outpeaked it on iTunes & the Hot 100 so I woudn't say IA, IO is doing so much better than "Sneakernight" did.
Now the week of the album release "It's Alright, It's OK" will most likely outpeak SN's iTunes peak and the Hot 100 peak the following week but both songs are big fat FLOPS at the end of the day.
I don't see IA, IO doing picking up at radio, they need to move on to "Masquerade".

^ Sneakernight didn't go top 40 on iTunes like IAIO did.

Vanessa barely got more than 5 spins with 'Sneakernight' if I recall. So as far as lead singles from sophomore singles on CHR, Ashley wins by a landslide. Although that has more to do with the labels than themselves. I also think IAIO got around the 50s on iTunes when it was first released. & that's because "Sneakernight" never had an adds date, IA, IO did. & its obvious 'Guilty Pleasure' is gonna outsell 'Identified', Ashley's getting more promotion. All the promotion Ashley has done thus far is more than Vanessa got for 'Identified' and she still has more promo dates coming up. Vanessa wasn't the main priority of her label so she was thrown under the bus. And "Sneakernight" peaked #37 on iTunes and #88 on the Hot 100. Its pretty sad a song that was sent for adds with a video thats getting played on MTV can't do better than that. "Its Alright, Its OK" peaked in the 50 range on iTunes as you mentioned and #99 on the Hot 100. Sneakernight didn't go top 40 on US iTunes. Canadian iTunes it did, but not US iTunes. It got to the mid 40's, around the same place IAIO got to. Can we please stop comparing, though. I'm tired of people comparing the two just because they stared in a movie series together. Can't we just accept that they both haven't done great. In my eyes, IAIO did better than Sneakernight, but come on, Sneakernight was a horrible single choice. It was an okay song, but you could tell it was going to flop from the day it premiered on Radio Disney a year ago. Identified and Amazed would've done much better. You can blame Hollyshit Records for that. Warner isn't that great either, but it's a bowl of cherries compared to Hollywood.

^LOL WTF are you talking about? You're talking to a BIG Vanessa fan whose been following her career for 3 years now. "Sneakernight" peaked @ #37 on the U.S. iTunes, that I am 100% sure of. I remember IA, IO peaking in the 50's range as someone else mentioned in this thread aswell, I don't remember it peaking in the 40 range but I could be wrong but I KNOW I'm not wrong about Vanessa's peak

Why does it matter anyway? That was a year ago with a song that was clearly dancepop. It was also being aired on a commercial. Commercials really help digital sales. Remember M.I.A. got a hit thanks to a commercial. This is a pop/rock song. It's like comparing apples and oranges. I'm tired of the Ashley vs. Vanessa thing. They really aren't that similar, so why compare?

Ecko Red released the commercial after the song had already peaked on iTunes. & I'm not the one who started the comparison. I'm sick of the Vanessa VS Ashley thing too but people should get thier facts rite b4 they run around saying this song was a much bigger hit than this song cause they will get checked ;)

Anyways, comparing these two songs is like comparing red and green apples. They're both apples and have a very similar taste, you can hardly compare them. The analogy being they both weren't big hits and they've both been about the same success. You can't really compare. That's an odd analogy, but it works.

Just listened to her album , it's okay. Very similar to LiLo's Speak , but just not as good IMO.
"Masquerade" is def. the best single choice.

US iTunes: 44. Overrated - Ashley Tisdale 96. Masquerade - Ashley Tisdale 102. It's Alright, It's OK - Ashley Tisdale
Ever get the feeling that maybe the wrong song was chosen as a single?

The market is always different. lol What "Overrated" is selling now many not have been enough to crack the top 50 back in April. Anyway, "Overrated" is a slightly better song than IAIO so it outpeaking it shouldn't be surprising. Although I am surprised that "Masquerade" is doing so poorly.

Anyway, "Overrated" is a slightly better song than IAIO so it outpeaking it shouldn't be surprising. Although I am surprised that "Masquerade" is doing so poorly. I know that first part, but "Overrated" has moved up to that position in one day, "It's Alright, It's OK" took two-three days to reach there. "Masquerade" had no promotion behind it, which explains why it's not doing as well. "Overrated" has iTunes promotion. iTunes is pushing "Overrated." Whenever you search 'Ashley Tisdale,' Headstrong and "Overrated" are the things that appear on the above page. On the front page of iTunes, it has the Countdown to Guilty Pleasure sign and once you click on it, "Overrated" is the first listed. Also, they did this for "It's Alright , It's OK," but it just didn't work as well as it has for "Overrated." While we're on this subject: 42. Overrated - Ashley Tisdale 94. Masquerade - Ashley Tisdale 105. It's Alright, It's OK - Ashley Tisdale If only "It's Alright, It's OK" would go top 100, then all three would be top 100!

Oh my mistake I don't search for Ashley Tisdale, nor do I use iTunes, so I wouldn't have known that they are heavily pushing that song. :) Well good for "Overrated!"
