Damn the song sounds awesome in that little snippet. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
Did Dr. Luke/Max Martin produce it? All their rockish songs sound similar so I can see why people think it sounds like So What. It has the general Pink/Kelly Clarkson vibe going on.

Is she serious with that song? What a blatant second rate rip off "So What."

Eh I prefer her voice over Pink's deep rasp. That's shameful...At least Pink can sing... Ashley rocked my world with "He Said," "Be Good To Me," "Going Crazy," "So Much For You" and "Positivity", but honestly her voice can't carry rock-pop...especially if it doesn't have a hook...

Ashley can sing too. I inadvertently saw her singing at a mall for some mini concert type thing. She sang live and sounded decent. No worse than Pink sounded when I was forced to go to an Nsync concert and she opened for them. Pink is scary with a husky voice. Ashley is hot with a cute voice. I'll side with Ashley. Of course there is room for both of them (and more) in the music industry. And, that doesn't mean I don't like Pink (I like a few songs and loved her MTV VMA performance of So What). :) As for the song sounding like So What-- that ain't her fault. Especially not if it is indeed a Max Martin or Dr. Luke production. If it isn't them, then someone else obviously lifted the sound that they have been ripping on themselves since the Breakaway album or such.

I think that the range and power of Pink's voice compared to Ashley's has a little more to do with whose the better singer than whether or not someone sounds 'cute' or 'husky.'
I can't believe I have to defend Pink from Ashley Tisdale...Obviously someone has noooo appreciation for vocals, or music.

I really wish she didn't go this route.
She doesn't have the lung capacity or the vocal range to do a song like this.
She is going to get so much $hit from people. Other artists can do this but singers coming straight out of Disney pretty much can't be ripping off other artists so closely. It always reminds people of a "Radio Disney version" of a song and a lot of people don't take you seriously. And this is a blantat rip off of "So What".
It sounds Ok, but I'm going to have to wait until I hear the full thing first.
But her management is doing a good job of building up anticipation for her fans.

I just like Ashley's voice better. So, to me that makes her better. Different strokes for different folks, ya know? Like I said, they can both exist happily in the music business. A big advantage, IMO, for Ashley is she is not on a Disney label. She is on Warner Bros. "He Said She Said" was just poorly managed at the time. It looks like they are going to do better this time around. It is obvious they won't be catering to the Disney crowd (as they surely did not with He Said She Said's music video).

Hey, they changed the title! Now it is called: So What (Radio Disney Mix)
Sounds good, but way too much Pink/Kelly-ish for me. Her dance music was good, and now she's pop/rock?

He Said, She Said was so much better. FLOP! It leaked full? If it didn't then how can you say He Said, She Said was better? You can't when the only part we now about the song is like 15 seconds from the chorus. But i do admit it will be hard to top He Said, She Said

But i do admit it will be hard to top He Said, She Said You can tell from a 15 second clip that it won't be as good as "He Said, She Said" because a) no 15 seconds of 'He Said, She Said' was that bad or hookless and b) because that 15 seconds was of the hook and chorus of the song...

It wasn't even 5 seconds. Instead of taking everything so literally (especially humor ), why don't you take some lithium instead to improve your constantly nasty mood.

It looks like they are going to do better this time around. It is obvious they won't be catering to the Disney crowd (as they surely did not with He Said She Said's music video). HSSS wasn't poorly managed...it actually brought some life back into her album and it did pretty well on top 40 radio. Plus she was doing her mall tour at the time and doing radio interviews and a clip was also being played during her Ecko commercial. Her first single BGTM was a disaster...no real music video besides that lame performance video. The only thing that 'saved' her album was her kiddie fanbase until WB decided to get their backsides in gear. While WB messed up in the beginning, they actually got it together with HSSS and gave her 2 other singles for European releases along with music videos and that music video DVD. She's still mainly known as a "Disney star" regardless of what label she is on though. As for her image...I don't think they will completely ignore radio Disney since Ashley still have a fairly big kiddie fanbase. They will probably release another song to radio Disney to remind the kids about her album.

I wouldn't call barely scraping the top 40 "doing well" for HSSS.

How the hell can you call what you post humorous. I laugh at a lot of things, but laughing at a deadly disease is just wrong and your "jokes" are terrible.

She doesn't really have a deadly disease...We all know that. So it is ripe for comedy that there is even such a stupid, random rumor circling around her. If she really had AIDS, of course it wouldn't be funny. And you've never laughed at ANYTHING...I've been on this board the entire time you've been here and you've been nothing but a snob to anyone who makes a joke with dry-humor. You should just leave.

The song was produced by TWIN, production team from Sweden. Hence the super-catchy melody.
