Why does Itunes say this was released on March 17th? It's doing pretty well so far. #62.

Pathetic attempt at writing lyrics too. its so embarrassing an attempt, it almost makes it original. Right... because the lyrics of "So What" are so deep... Na, na, na, na, na, na, na I wanna start a fight So, so what, I'm still a rock star I got my rock moves and I don't need you And guess what, I'm havin' more fun And now that we're done I'm gonna show you tonight hahah true and Max Martin helped write or produce it correct? He's not known for being original or deep. But honestly I could care less if songs sound similar or what not. If I like it, I like it. COuld care less if it sounds similar, and this is coming from a big pink fan(And a huge so What fan). Doing good so far :)

The verses in this song are brilliant...almost no drums in beginning, great electro sounds, drums come in, dynamics build.......build......BANG! into the chorus. Totally addictive.

It cracks me up that a Pink fan is criticizing Ashley's song for having bad lyrics. Talk about irony.

According to the email from All Access the music video premieres on MySpace on April 21st.
And apparently the music video will be seen on 6,600 movie screens from April 24-May 28

Like every reviewer said on iTunes, this is a cheap, washed out version of So What. Pathetic attempt at writing lyrics too. its so embarrassing an attempt, it almost makes it original. this is everything that is wrong with these little no talent teen boppers popping out of disney Most of this is true, but it's still a well built, catchy pop song. I can't deny that and neither will radio I think.

I just said it was a poor attempt at writing them which it was. Why do people always think good lyrics have to be deep? Besides, the pathetic attempt i was referring to was the almost identical structure and the exact same concept. yes its been done before i know, but lets be real, you dont just dream up those lyrics right after a #1 song has the exact same ideas

Even though this is an amalgam of So What, My Life Would Suck Without You and Gives You Hell, I am addicted. :)
That movie screen promotion for the video is a great idea.

^I understand the "So What" and "My Life Would Suck Without You" comparisons, "Gives You Hell" sounds nothing like this.

an amalgam of So What, My Life Would Suck Without You So What was obvious, but I hadn't considered MLWSWY until you said it... definitely in the verses. Wow. Minus points for originality but it's still a pretty good song.

'MLWS' isn't all that original in the first place anyway. I don't hear the similarities.

MLWSWY is a carbon copy of Since U Been Gone.
I think that they all sound the same but that doesn't mean they're copies. I personally like "It's Alright, It's Okay" more than MLWSWY, but not as much as "So What". SW was just more fiery.

MLWSWY is a carbon copy of Since U Been Gone. I've never really got that. I find MLWSWY to be superior, but that's just me. 'It's Alright, It's Ok' is the lesser of the three songs here imo. It doesn't matter so much anyhow, all three are decent and I'm loving the current pop/rock sound going round, original or not.

^I somewhat agree . I really like this kind of pop, it's a welcome change from the slew of R&B/Pop crossovers.

^I somewhat agree . I really like this kind of pop, it's a welcome change from the slew of R&B/Pop crossovers. Absolutely. Not that I mind R&B/Pop crossovers for the most part, but this wave of Rock/Pop we're getting from artists like Kelly, Pink, Katy (not sure what else you'd call it!) is quite refreshing and much more uplifting.

Agree with above -- both styles are good, but contrast makes things alot more interesting. I also like how different styles are being mixed into the same song these days, as with Ashley's song. From the chorus clip, I def. didn't expect that more electro-ish sound on the verses....makes it fresh.

Where was she at Zac Efron's 17 Again USA premiere in Hollywood? Was she not in L.A.? It would've been good to start off promoting this single... 4 of the other HSM members were there.
