So I take it you'd rather hear rappers rap about lollipops and taffy than this? No, not really. I'm a big alternative fan, but KoL are just extremely overrated. I would love to see Notion be a CHR hit, but that's unlikely because they decide to send crap to CHR instead.

I still love both this song and "Use Somebody". The other singles haven't grown on me at all.

I have no problem with them being successful - more power to them! What I don't get is some comments I've seen calling them the best band ever since The Beatles and stuff like that. THAT is whack! I think that's mostly people that are connecting to the emoting aspects of the songs. There is a very plaintiff angst in the songs that is tough to capture. They don't manage it on every song by any means, but Use Somebody, Sex is on Fire and Revelry certainly have it. I don't think their style is varied enough to even be thinking Beatles. There has not been a Beatles since the Beatles, and it seems unlikely there will be. The Beatles tended to set the trends and changed their music drastically. The current markets and fan bases and record companies really just don't allow that kind of freedom.

KoL haven't been highly rated by anyone in the US until just recently. Most alternative fans and certainly KoL fans consider them very underrated and that this moment in time has been a long time coming to very deserving band. They certainly work hard at any rate.

Up to 55 spins on Pop, and actually increasing again on Hot AC/Rock/Alternative!

Eh, ignore those ridiculous remarks. My original prediction was Top 20 but it flopped so hard the first time. I shall not curse it this time round.

*sigh* This is one of those songs that's going to make me take a CHR hiatus for a while. (The last one was "Single Ladies", although "You Belong To Me" came pretty close.)
It's not even that I dislike the song. I really liked it when it first came out, but it's gotten so much Alternative play that I'm 100% burnt out on it for the next year.

As much as I think this is a brilliant move on their part, and this will be another huge hit, it was already huge. I was digging this song a long time ago. I'd like to see Revelry out.

"Revelry" is too slow, I think. "Notion" and "Crawl" might have done decently well as followups, though.

Wow, it's an older single- but it's actually increasing on multiple formats.
It's gaining spins again on ALT, and ACT. It's also gaining on POP & HAC.

I'm just not feeling this. Maybe I'll wake up and love it, like with Use Somebody.

Cool! I was just wondering days ago if they were going to try again with this song now that they are famous in the American pop radio world. And here it is! It's a cool song!

I'm glad to see that the adds date was pushed back to November 17th - I was surprised to see the original adds date come and go without the song doing much. I think "Sex On Fire" will still make the top 15, though I thought it would be moving a little faster by now.

I'd like to see Revelry out. I don't understand why they skipped that one Stateside and jumped straight to "Notion." I like them both a lot, but I prefer "Revelry," although "Notion" sounds a little fresher at the moment. "Revelry" is too slow, I think. "Notion" and "Crawl" might have done decently well as followups, though. I think "Revelry" would have a better shot at CHR than "Crawl," but I don't think either of them would do all that well. "Notion" might've stood a chance.

This song is soo epic. It really grew on me after Use Somebody, and now its one of my favorite. Perfect single choice IMO, and hopefully #3 is Notion.

Listening to this, I've grown to like it. I don't think it'll be massive, but on the basis of Use Somebody it'll chart.

This song is brutal, worse than Use Somebody, and it needs to flop badly and go away FOREVER Cody -- glad someone else hasn't gotten sucked into the KOL fad. Well I like Notion, but the first 2 overplayed royal pieces of crap just piss me off I love this song more than Use Somebody, I see no reason it can't be another hit for them! because it blows ^^^ Stations finally realized how AWFUL this song really is. Most overrated song EVER I'm thinking you've made your point?
