I might get a ticket to see them in Toronto. I'm stupid for holding off on it tbh. Still waiting on firm dates and stuff really.

Saw them at Madison Square Garden last night and it was definitely one of the best concerts I've been to. The Chicks sure do know how to put on a fantastic show. The stage set was very minimal and I loved the coordinated black and white they were wearing (including the band) along with their instruments. My seats were pretty crappy, but at least there was a monitor right in front of me so I got to see them "up close."
Martie is just breathtaking. She was totally rocking the messy hair look last night. I think the cameraman had a crush on Martie because she got the majority of closeups right after Natalie. Of course, I was happy with this since she's my favorite, lol. Natalie was rocking it out like nobody's business and that voice is something else. So much power and raw emotion. I love it. And let's not forget Emily: what a talent. Her musical talents were on full display because she was playing a different instrument after every song (banjo, pedal steel guitar, guitar, the ukulele, etc. This band has definitely no shortage on talent.
The whole crowd enjoyed the older hits a lot more than the current ones. Goodbye Earl got the biggest and loudest response. Not Ready To Make Nice gave me chills. Hearing that song in person is an experience in and of itself. Wide Open Spaces and Cowboy Take Me Away were great singalong songs. Their rendition of Nothing Compares 2 U was absolutely phenomenal. They need to record that and release it. Landslide was another crowd favorite. The Ben Harper closer was perfect: I think they brought out their kids and the bands' kids because suddenly there were about 10 kids onstage playing instruments. That was pretty cool. Behind them on the monitor was a heart in the color of a rainbow.
As for the openers, The Heavy was pretty good and I'm actually interested in checking out their CD. The lead singer tried his best to get the crowd going, but most of us just ignored him. Josh Herbert was also good and I might even check out his CD.
I hope they don't wait another 10 years to go on tour. They might not release another CD as a group (which is a damn shame), but I'm hoping they don't officially call it quits.

I saw the Chicks last week, and they were stellar.
Natalie was vocally in top form, and Martie and Emily were just as good.
The black and white theme and graphics were really creative, the best I've seen at at a Country show. The whole thing was very professional and clean.
The biggest crowd response came from older hits ("Goodbye Earl," probably got the biggest reaction), but their setlist is a great mix of new and old material.
Before the show, I expected "Top Of The World" to be my favorite moment of the show, but the highlight of the night was easily "Nothing Compares 2 U." Natalie completely blew me away, I don't think I'll ever forget how good she sounded. Chills.
"Home" is my favorite Chicks album, but I haven't stopped spinning "Taking The Long Way" since the show. Hearing those songs live gave me a whole new appreciation for that album.
"Not Ready To Make Nice" is so powerful in a live setting, and the audience couldn't hear a pin drop during "Travelin' Solider."
I certainly hope they release another album, but even if they don't, they need to keep touring. I would love to see them again at some point.

Definitely agree with you about Nothing Compares 2 U. Like I said above, they need to record this song and release it because it's going to be a massive hit. The emotion Natalie sings this song with is unbelievable.

I will probably go to the show here in August. I've been putting off buying a ticket because I'm not sure how the view is (read: is it worth it?) from the general admission pit.

I've had disc 2 stuck in my car stereo since it released. The only disappointing aspect is its exclusivity to Amazon, so I don't get to stream it through Spotify as well. I haven't played the Blu-ray yet, but plan to in the near future.
