Does Bey know how to do anything other than squat or pop?
I've seen those moves, wigs and model struts before.

They don't work together. I'm a fan of both, but putting GaGa next to Beyonce isn't a good look for her. Everybody's saying that but I think GaGa held her own pretty well.

Just saw the BHG video for the first time and just wanted to state how much I love it. I think it's such a beautifully shot, emotional video. One of her best.

November 16, 2009 - It seemed like an impossible task, but that didn't stop us from trying. With the first decade of the new millennium coming to a close, we decided to compile a list of the 50 most important recordings of the past 10 years — a list that covers a wide range of styles and genres, with indelible songs and albums that challenge, inspire and captivate. These are the game-changers: records that signaled some sort of shift in the way music is made or sounds, or ones that were especially influential or historically significant. Favorite records don't necessarily qualify. A lot of people, including nearly everyone at NPR Music, love Fleet Foxes' debut album, but was it one of the decade's most important? (You can tell us what you think in the comments section below.) The 50 recordings that appear here are listed alphabetically. We've included artists and bands from a number of musical worlds, from dubstep and hip-hop to Top 40 pop, classical, jazz, world, beardy folk, metal and hard rock. There's some country, too, but admittedly no grindcore or goa trance. (Again, you can tell us what you think in the comments section below.) A lot of people, including All Songs Considered listeners, helped put this list together. As we culled through the nominees, tears were shed and arguments were had. But one thing we all agreed on: This was one of the best decades yet for music. We can't wait to hear what comes next. The 50 Most Important Recordings: Song: Crazy in Love Once upon a time in 2003, three young women from the successful pop group Destiny's Child were exploring their separate musical paths. Michele Williams released a successful gospel album, Kelly Rowland was at the top of the charts with "Dilemma" (a duet with Nelly) and Beyonce Knowles... well, everyone knows what happens next in this story: an explosive Chi-Lites horn sample and a commandingly coquettish vocal spouting, "Uh oh uh oh uh oh." The introduction to "Crazy in Love," the lead single from Dangerously in Love, provides one of the greatest 30-second bites of music this decade, and announces a standout artist. Whereas Destiny's Child's songs were about poised and sensible women, this was Beyonce's opportunity to explore emotional messiness. Dangerously in Love doesn't go too far; Beyonce is simultaneously transgressive and traditional in her sound and lyrics. But it was a hell of a start, and she didn't stop there. -- Amy SchrieferAwesome! Beyonce's not only successful, critics love her too! And I'm glad CIL made it, although Irreplaceable or Single Ladies could have easily made it too! Beyonce's songs are great :) I am Sasha Fierce certified Diamond(250k) in brazil!! www.abpd.org.br/certificados_interna.asp?sArtista=Beyonc%E9Not only smashing in the States, but the rest of the world too! :)

MTV - Nov 17 2009 12:02 AM EST Beyonce And Lady Gaga's 'Video Phone' Clip: A Brightly Colored Fantasy Set To Life Hype Williams-helmed clip premiered on MTV.com at midnight. By James Montgomery Views6,811 When one imagines a collaboration between Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Hype Williams, the mind reels with visions of outlandish costumes, hip-displacing dance moves, DayGlo flames, fish-eye lenses ... the list goes on and on. Thus, it's a little surprising that the just-released clip for Beyoncé's "Video Phone" has nary a flame or fish-eye shot (there are, of course, plenty of outlandish costumes). However, don't make the mistake of thinking this video is by any means straightforward — it's plenty WTF! Opening with a tracking shot that pays homage to Quentin Tarantino's 1992 flick "Reservoir Dogs" (and features Beyoncé wearing a Zorro mask) and closing with her firing an assault rifle while seated atop a motorcycle, it's a decidedly weird trip, a cartoonish fantasy brought to life. There's an extended sequence where Beyoncé dresses up as '50s pinup Bettie Page, and other parts where she handles more firearms than a Guns & Ammo editor. There are eyeball-popping colors and head-spinning edits, too. But weirdest of all is Gaga's cameo — mostly because it's shockingly normal. She's not wearing some gravity-defying outfit or hairstyle: She sings a verse, fires a sidearm and then works her way through a chair-dance routine with B (which, it should be noted, is pretty great). And then she disappears. (Gaga said last month that she told Beyoncé, "I don't want to show up in some frickin' hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.' I said, 'I want to do you,' " which offers some explanation.) It's definitely not the Gaga we're used to seeing, but her appearance isn't exactly run-of-the-mill, either. And neither is this video, for that matter. Especially not when you're watching Beyoncé snap her gum and shake her hips and grope an AK-47 while the screen pops from electric green to Kool-Aid red. If only all videos were this "normal" ... www.mtv.com/news/articles/1626404/20091116/knowles_beyonce.jhtml----- This smashing new video featuring two of the biggest female stars in the music scene is a color fest of fast edits, fashionable costumes and cool dance steps. Lady Gaga's cameo in the video was quite subdued unlike her usual self, a refreshing change I think... but disappointing for some of her other admirers. The best part for me is Beyonce and Lady Gaga's sexy chair dance routine towards the end of the video. Overall a must watch video!www.batchbuzz.com/detailedStoryDefault.php?id=759

Beyoncé kinda owned Gaga. Even though this is Beyonce's video and she had numerous outfit changes- her act of an oversexed tart is played out. I actually like Gaga more in the video and her part wasn't even that big. It was kinda cool to see her step into Beyonce's world. Really if anything this video made me more interested to see what will happen when Beyonce steps into Gaga's world.

Yeah I like all the color and stuff but Bee was a bit too sexual to me. She comes off that way a lot and it wasn't 'tastefully' done. GaGa looks out of place in this lol.

^ well, I don't know. To me, it looked like Beyoncé was the superstar and GaGa was just a fan. And don't get me wrong, I love GaGa and have been playing The Fame Monster like crazy. But I had a feeling that maybe GaGa should've worn some big accessory in her head to shine a little more.
