"Unusual You" is winning with 23% of the votes, however it won last time around and "Radar" was chosen to be released. Top five choices at the moment:
1. Unusual You 23% 2. Mannequin 14% 2. Kill The Lights 14% 4. Shattered Glass 11% 5. Out From Under 10%
The best choices for radio release are either "Out From Under" or "Mannequin". I think it is obvious that Jive is at least toying around with the idea of "Mannequin" being a single after "Radar", however "Out From Under" would be a terrific choice I also think it's a lot more radio friendly but it's "safe".

"Out From Under" or "Unusual You" for 5 th single to me. didn't pay much attention to "Mannequin", but since the tour performance, I think it may have some potential as a single. I can't see "Kill The Lights" as a single don't know why :S..."Shattered Glass" is hot, but it's too short, if they end up releasing it, they should make an extended remix

Why? They can release a 5th single even if this flops. Jive has banked so much money from this project already. They have nothing to lose. Say it... If this is legitimate, it seems to me they are going as planned except I thought the third would be Radar/UY and they would save IUSA for the summer. 5th single in the fall is good to at least have for the fall/winter season and end of the year boost (a la Rihanna's Rehab). I'm gonna vote...it is soon but it's still good that they are going with the sign of the times and releases 5-6 videos instead of the standard 3 or 4 singles.

OUT FROM UNDER would be a good October release to get those extra Xmas sales. Tug on the hearts of shoppers when they are buying CDs and iTunes gift cards. Not unusual you...the lyrics are more sentimental than OFU IMO. That will tug on the hearts of listeners alot more.

it'd be a shame to keep "unusual you" under wraps. i think it's one of the best songs britney has ever done and i'm fairly sure it would do quite well. I agree it was meant for a spring or fall impact.

Out From Under is what would sell the album IMO :) Really...even how she sang the song. I think it is so boring the way she sing it. As someone not known for their vocal prowess a song in the same vein as Everytime or Shadow is necessary IMO. I don't get the brouhaha with OFU. It just reminds me of a bad karoake song.

To me, just like they added Radar on Circus it was a single they added Mannequin to the tour...probably going to be the next single. I opt for UY, Mannequin, KTL, or SG and I will be just fine.

Where's is this poll? The only poll I see on britney.com is about the If U Seek Amy Remix EP.

Out From Under has the best chance for a hit ballad on CHR off the Circus album.

if she wants to make a spalsh at the grammys (well, "splash" might be a bit much ;) ), there's just no way around "unusual you". add "radar" and "womanizer" to the list, plus maybe a nod for "circus" (the album, not the song) - she might have a chance to grab one.
"out from under" feels like a filler from the early years to me, something along the lines of the first two albums. it's alright, but nothing special. a bit too girly and immature for my taste. she's 28, no need to woo the preteens anymore.

Do people really think UY is going to get Grammy love? It's not going to win Best Dance Recording, it's not going to win Best Pop Vocal Performance, etc. It's not going to do much of anything except get a few good reviews on a few websites and then it will flop on CHR and it would be a waste of a single. Besides "Circus" and "If U Seek Amy" are her best bets if she wants to get a Grammy nom for best Pop Vocal Performance. "Circus" also should be nominated for "Best Pop Vocal Album" and "Womanizer" or "Radar" should be nominated for "Best Dance Recording".

so what do you make of "radar"'s chances at the grammys? slim to none?
i see what you're saying, all i was trying to point out was that if she comes up with a bulk of great songs (not HUGE songs, but great ones), chances are she's gonna leave the show with an award.
*edit: "if you seek amy" will get her nowhere. the grammy folks have never shown max martin any love whatsoever. i don't think there's another producer around on this planet who came up with that many hits and never got anything at that show. it's ridiculous.

Well unless something drastically amazing happens to Britney's voice she will most likely never win a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance (the singers who win those awards usually have either a. distinct/odd voices see Nelly Furtado, Macy Gray, Amy Winehouse or b. are huge belters Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson) however I would say a nomination in that field is a great thing for Britney to have, she doesn't have to win to have critical acclaim.
All is not lost if she only leaves with a nomination in the field. I would actually say a nomination is a big success story for her there because she is not known for her vocals.
Just her having a nomination in the field will boost the way people view her and maybe get people to take a second glance at her. I think "Radar" or "Womanizer" would easily get her either a nomination or a win in the dance field. I also think that "If U Seek Amy" or "Circus" (the two singles off of the Circus album that have the least vocal manipulation) could get her a nomination in the Pop Vocal field which would be great considering she hasn't gotten a nomination there since 2002.

I think "Radar" or "Womanizer" would easily get her either a nomination or a win in the dance field. interesting. even with lady gaga around? i think it'll depend on where gaga will be placed. it won't be a contest if "poker face" (*edit: or maybe even "lovegame") goes to "dance". i'm fairly sure britney has a shot though if gaga goes to "pop".

God Lady Gaga will be like nominated for so many awards yeah. too bad all of britney's eligible singles ("womanizer", "radar", maybe "unusual you") that normally would have quite a shot come out at the same time gaga explodes. i don't see brit winning "pop". that category is just too tough to take. sure, "circus" got some nice reviews, but it didn't feel like it was actually grammy material.
