Exposé's 1992 album had a lineup change due to Gioia Bruno's throat lump that forced her to leave the group. I think Kelly Moneymaker did a good job, although she never got to sing lead.
First single did not do much for me, and probably a lot of fans did not like it a lot, as it went Top 30 in the Hot 100.
They rebounded with the ballad "I'll Never Get Over You (Getting Over Me," which hit number 8 and went gold. I just found this amazing live performance of the song:
The third single, the Diane Warren-penned "As Long As I Can Dream" marked Ann Curless' first single on lead vocals (though "Stop, Listen, Look & Think" went to clubs in late 1990). The single fizzled on the charts, peaking at number 56.
Contrary to their first two albums, which featured more dance singles than ballads, Arista decided to give a try to a third consecutive ballad for this album, but it became their lowest-peaking hit to date. "In Walked Love" (probably my favorite Exposé track) went to number 84 more than a year after the album release. This is a performance of the track earlier this year!
I believe there are a couple of songs that really stood out on this album and should have been singles: "I Think I'm In Trouble" and "Angel."
Gioia has stated that she loves singing all songs from this album, since she was not a part of it when she was released.

Not really big on them ditching the freestyle for the adult contemporary sound, although I guess that's what became necessary by this time. I do love "In Walked Love" though. Very Wilson Phillips.

British popstress Louise did a cover of "In Walked Love" in 1997, and went to number 17 in the UK singles charts. Though I love some of Louise's hits, I prefer Exposé's version ten million times to this one:

This is a gorgeous album from start to finish. "Angel" is quite striking! "I'll Never Get Over You..." is one of D. Warren's finest moments. Love the Wilson Phillips sound of this CD. I missed Gioia but the material was so strong that the other girls were able to pull it off perfectly.
Debelah Morgan covered "As Long As I Can Dream" for the Stuart Little soundtrack and absolutely blew it out of the water. There are a number of Mariah-whistle notes in it! Check it out.
