Yay at the UK! lol. But I'm now excited for the studio version of Did It Again. I like Kid Cudi too so this should be interesting. Can the mods please open up the Did It Again thread? It's obviously the next single, and She Wolf's plummet is depressing me.

I don't understand why anyone would have thought this would be successful in the first place. This is trash. She Wolf? Goodbye. At least to me, this should've and could've been a hit. The label just didn't promote it right. A song by itself can only rise up and last so long. This didn't have the jump to the top on iTunes for example but with promo starting maybe a month ago (at least 1 performance) and one at the VMA's for example would've helped the song maybe at least peak at #10 on BB and of course gain airplay.

She Wolf was a hit. It got to #11 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's #3 in the world right now. It wasn't as big as HDL obviously, but was it would have been a good launch for She Wolf.
I expect Did It Again will do about as well as She Wolf. I expect this era to have more moderate hits as opposed to one massive hit like her last 2 eras.

This was a decent hit for her I'd say. Top 15 on CHR and the Hot 100 and a strong digital seller. Not massive, but it was successful. Some people had ridiculous expectations for it though, comparing it to SexyBack and Boom Boom Pow. This was never going to be as successful as those songs. So I guess it was underwhelming for the people who expected it to reach that level of success.

The song has been a solid seller on iTunes and it was on top 16 of the Hot 100 for a few months. Its a decent hit for Shakira, just not the big HDL type hit people expected. Its going top 10 world wide though. Its currently #3 on the United World Chart: www.mediatraffic.de/tracks.htm

After this blew up like crazy I just expected it to be a bigger CHR hit. I guess I shouldn't be fooled next time though.

I like the song, but the video just weirded me out big time. It was a huge turnoff for me.

In my eyes this had potential to go Top 5 if not #1 on BB and at least Top 10 on CHR ;)

It was a decent hit, but it's falling really fast now. It had a bad burnout factor, I kind of hate it now. I think she's going to get another minor hit, but for some reason I don't see this project doing well.

I have a bad feeling as well. This was a flop on arrival imo, and this era isn't shaping up to be anything better. I'm holding out for the spanish lang. album, they're always better anyway.

Objection deserved more. After two hits it completely killed the Laundry Service era... It was a great song with a super cool video, I don't understand what happened with that one. It seemed like it was made for USA radio.

Is she actually singing live in this clip? If she is, there's NO reason why she shouldn't have been singing live the whole time. It kinda sounds 50% live, 50% lipped. Kinda like she's singing the verses, but the chorus is lipped.

Good performance at BBC! :) I like that she is actually singing. I think she sings all the verses and over a backup track during the chorus and the SOS she is in disguise. Fair enough, though. The most electronically altered parts to be sang on the backup is fine with me. THAT's what I thought for the other performances. This time she didn't move that much though. A bit more dancing would have been nice ;)
