Brandy tweeted she had some meetings today My thoughts: 1. Brandy needs a solid tour, she is coming no where close to me. 2. Did you all forget when they first posted the pre-order of "Two Eleven" on iTunes and it had more tracks? Well Brandy said they may use those for the repackage. 3. I def. think they need to re-release this album. It is too good to waste. 4. Send "Without You" to AC and get Urban a remix with a rapper for "Do You Know What You Have" 5. Get on some late night shows and then a bigger tour to end out the year. 6. I'm not here to see this album flop All of this, especially #3 and #6. It would be a shame if this era wasn't supported with a tour: stage presence, looks, music, vocals, everything is on point w/ Brandy right about now. I must make my way to Essence Fest to see her.

They definitely need to capitalize on her being one of the headliners for Essence Fest. A re-release can't hurt her.

They just need to release a new album. Most of the material on this album doesnt stand up next to her best.

Brandy Talks Return To 'The Game' and 'Chardonnay'Njai Joszor 3/3/2013 9:54:11 AM Brandy is really excited about returning to "The Game," which will kick off a sixth season on BET later this month. Speaking of the upcoming season recently, Brandy explained why she loves playing the character Chardonnay. "It's such a blessing. Chardonnay is such a free, wild and wonderful character. I love her. She's full of life. She doesn't take no you know what and she's just awesome," Brandy shares in video below. "I love playing her." As previously reported, Brandy is also starring in the forthcoming Tyler Perry pic "Temptation." Excited about that project as well, which is due to open in theaters March 29, Brandy says it's just part of following her path and hopefully additional doors will be opened for more. "I'm excited about everything coming up and hopefully that will open up new opportunities. I'm just following my path," she shared. Listen to Brandy's full interview with The Martina Show below. Brandy is also touring in support of her new album "Two Eleven."

This interview was posted after Brandy's show in Philly the other night.
Brandy talks about how she has gained new confidence and they asked her what the next single was.
Brandy said she still doesn't know but she wants it to be "Do You Know What You Have" and that she is still fighting because she doesn't want Two Eleven to be done.

It's hard to come to terms with an ending era. I do hope the publicity with the movie/tv appearances will convince her label to release another single.
There are just too many great moments on Two Eleven. This album needs to be shared.

If the record company believe in her so much, they would actually release a third single. The album still seems to be selling 2.4 to 4k a week. A third single that could turn into a top 15 urban hit might keep it afloat another couple of months. DYKWYH or LMG would be a good choice for a third single. If the third single does well and keeps the album in the top 200, I say do a re-release with 3 new tracks.

"Wildest Dreams" was just an AWFUL choice and it killed the album. I don't know who fought to get that reelased but they should be slapped. I wouldnt put much effort to release another single from this album if I were the label either. They should send "Do You know" to radio and if it takes off give it the full video treatment, if it tanks them end the album.

this is sad. Brandy hasn't delivered more than 2 singles with videos since the NSN era. Sadly, I don't see them doing another video for this era.

Justin Timberlake (well, Timbaland I suppose I should say) totally sampled "Always On My Mind" on the second half of his song "Strawberry Bubblegum." Brandy, your favorite artist's favorite artist :'( :'(
She's so underappreciated now.

Wildest Dreams, sped up without the runs, would have fit well on his album

If they had released Afrodisiac (the title track) as a single in the U.S., that would've made 3 (including Who Is She 2 U and Talk About Our Love). But yeah, I do love her videos.

Do you think RCA Is gonna fire her? Shooter, you seems to know thoses types of things... Do you? My only concern Is that.. PID did pretty well and even with that, they don't allow a 3rd single. I love her so so Much but i think her team Is the worst ever and this was her last chance .. Sad but i Don't see her comeback anymore on top of the charts..

Lol, I hear "Wildest Dream's" almost everyday because I work at "Old Navy" and it's included on their current cd/mix.

Monica's last effort only sold 185k I think (I can't find a source now but I remember seeing a number in the 180s the last time I looked it up); but she's working on her new album now. So I'm hopeful Brandy won't be let go since she sold similar numbers and is on the same label. I'm also hoping that with the way Two Eleven panned out, they will make an effort to have several radio-friendly songs - and choose them as singles! - on the next album to keep the era going. With Two Eleven, I'm not disappointed so much in them picking WD as a single as I am in them not quickly coming out with a third single once it was clear that WD was flopping. The hesitation and indecision is irksome, and I also suspect that Brandy might have been dealing with a limited budget that only allowed for promotion of two singles and the album launch. Even so, I don't understand why they wouldn't at least send out "Let Me Go" or "Do You Know What You Have Here" just to see if it will do something on its own.

Even so, I don't understand why they wouldn't at least send out "Let Me Go" or "Do You Know What You Have Here" just to see if it will do something on its own. Def a miscalculation. The first stutter of WD on the charts should have prompted them to release another single. Her team's plan was to win over urban with a hot single (PID) and follow it up with something with more "Brandy-esque" and R&B. The plan failed. You can't be a staple on radio with one hit single and expect them to play anything you send. You need several. LMG and DYK should have been released as follow up singles. WD should have been saved for the end of her era, radio would have been more receptive. I'm a bit worried about for Brandy. Monica sold the same number of albums with no hit singles, which may mean she'd still be lucrative for the label. She possibly can get hit single, release an album and get good numbers. What complicates this though was PID never seemed like an album seller. Possibly a bigger hit, that is of better quality may do better for her next time around.

I dont think people should really overthink this for Brandy. I see her in the same situation as Kelly Rowland after she released Motivation. HUGE hit, flop album and instead of dragging out a album that was clearly DEAD in the water, she followed up quickly with a single from a new project (ICE, Kisses Down Low) and is really making a name for herslef at urban.
As long as Brandy follows up quickly with a new single from a new poject, think she will be be ok. She needs a single out at least by May.

If she does that then she DESERVES to flop. She has to rebuild her following at urban radio.

She really needs a new song by the start of the 4th quarter 2013. or re-release 2-11 with 4 new radio friendly songs!
