What is RCA doing these days? Sleeping? I think they're trying to get it right with KOL, but they're dropping the ball a bit with Kelly, Daughtry and Cook. Cook's single has been in the 49-55 range for weeks, a bit of push could probably take it to the top 40. Daughtry's single seems to be peaking before it even makes the top 20, and I don't see RCA doing anything. But ok, these two are working the HAC, but Kelly, what are they waiting for to release a new single with her sales going down so fast?

RCA is not to blame for this. sorry but they cannot change the material that the songs are, and they cannot change the market. i know its nice to have someone to blame but the record company cannot be blamed for a song struggling after being released on time.

I didn't mean RCA was to blame about IDNHP. It was regarding the new single. I think it's time they release a new single or at least we have adds date. Do we know that? Unless they think IDNHP will re-explode

IDNHU sold 32,000 this week for a total of 476k. Almost half a mil! Not great, but not bad either. Have they filmed the vid for AG yet? It should go for adds in the next week or two. I can see it being a moderate hit as well. But shit needs to get moving!

I'm glad this hasn't crashed and burned, because she's performing this on SYTYCD tomorrow. In reality, based on our expectations this still should have been increasing on radio right now and this would have been the perfect time to increase digital sales, but obviously things didn't turn out like we thought. Anyway, sorry to ramble on, but I'm interested to see if this will help a lot in digital sales, because it would be nice if Kelly could get a new Hot 100 peak

^Definitely true. If everyone looks, on the Hot 100 this is still top 30, if downloads increase this could very easily reach a new peak which would be great :)

We can pray it helps the album... I really care more about those sales than IDNHU. It already is a Top 20 hit. Its not like it has a chance of being a top 10 hit on BB.

Come on RCA, don't drop the ball again! Announce an adds date for Already Gone, already! I never bought IDNHU as a single so I am going to buy it tonight after her performance, hopefully it could help her achieve a new peak on the Hot 100? If not, oh well, a few pennies in Kelly's pocket.

WOW. Why the hell would she perform IDNHU on So You Think You Can Dance when the song isn't doing anything for her? She should use this opportunity to perform Already Gone on the show!!!! Helloooo!!!! That freaking show is even using Already Gone, as the "goodbye" theme song on elimination day, in which she will be performing. Ugh. I do not her team at all. Who is managing her?

I will explain this AGAIN! First, IDNHU just began with a negative bullet this week. I am sure this was planned a few weeks ago with the hopes it would go higher and still be gaining. Most importantly, it is TRADITION on this show to have the "goodbye" song performed during the finale. Why would Kelly perform it this week and then perform it again during the finale? That would make no sense! Everyone likes to think they know it all and that RCA is just sooooo stupid and Kelly is just clueless.

I have been on this forum for close to three years as a guest and a member and I seriously cannot believe how clueless some of you are being. If "I Do Not Hook Up" didn't do anything for her album or on radio what makes any of you think that "Already Gone" will? Are you kidding me? Seriously? It's a ballad that sounds exactly like a song that was already on radio and that already became a hit which was "Halo" sp why would any radio programmer in their right mind want to play a carbon copy of it? Especially during summer, Use your heads.
She committed career suicide with this terrible album and her other terrible album before this. I'm a fan and I'm willing to face the facts that she will never be the same Kelly when she did "Breakaway", that was her peak as an artist and I truly believe she will never have that type of success again (especially with material like "AIEW" and "MD", yikes!).
I have stayed away from this thread for the longest time but I have really had it with people praising this song and acting like its going to be some saving grace for this album. I say she should release something upbeat in this songs place as the 3rd single, do her tour and scrap the project and work on another album. It's her only choice really, this era has been nothing sort of a disaster

AIEW is not Kelly strongest record, but I don't also consider it a disaster. She has two hits already, that's better than MD. Also, ballads can do well in the summer. We belong Together anyone? However I do believe the AG is to similar to halo and that is still in good rotation. Maybe the can rework the beginning of the song to radio…because that’s the part that sounds really similar. The rest? Not as much. You sounded like she is Jessica Simpson or something. That girl is in serious career trouble… Kelly is and will be fine.

This is what I don't understand, why are people protecting her and in denial so badly? She is the only artist on this forum that people just seem to keep giving excuses for and giving her easy outs. I'm over it.
People fail to realize that she IS in serious trouble here. People are aren't buying her albums anymore and interest is fading so badly in her.
If you are comparing "We Belong Together" to "Already Gone" than I really have nothing more to say.

If you are comparing "We Belong Together" to "Already Gone" than I really have nothing more to say. I was not comparing the two songs. I just gave an example of a ballad huge during the summer (maybe the wrong one, as this is one PULSE all time untouchable songs) I'm not delusional or a big Kelly fan. I just don't think she is in that much trouble. I think even if AG underperforms...she can release a fourth single to gather attention again (I think IFCHI is really nice and different for her). I was just stating my opinion… I don’t 100% disagree with what you said. I just think you’re overreacting. But I respect your opinion…sorry if it came out like otherwise. ;)

This is what I don't understand, why are people protecting her and in denial so badly? Well, obviously Kelly has a lot of loyal fans who like her and like her music, and think this album will do better as more people get to hear more of it. It ain't rocket science. You don't like this album and don't think it should sell. Ok. But it's already had one very big hit single, and those of us who do like this album a lot are naturally going to think it still has some life in it. Nobody stays the flavor of the month forever, but quality artists have a way of hanging around and popping back up with a hit here and there as the years go by after they pass that initial peak. Kelly's making good music and bringing in millions of dollars in music sales, and she's just getting started on a long tour. 'Hot' artists like Lady Gaga, for example, have a long way to go to establish that kind of staying power.
