This is pretty good. Since "I Know You Want Me" went Top 4, this should do something.

Loving this one too. Not as much as "I Know You Want Me" and the "The Anthem." This one samples the early 90's club hit "Push The Feeling On" by Nightcrawlers. It's the little loop from the Dub Of Doom version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSzpOUwiLkc

Another sample for Pitbull, but its another winner (he does have an amazing ear for rhythm, I'll give him that).
Jim Jonsin is on the boards here, and he is also the executive producer of the upcoming album. It may be full of potential hits. He could very well be the Latin Flo Rida after this record.

I like this! Should be another hit. The verses remind me of I Gotta A Feeling.

This song is going to be a hit. I think all Pitbull's singles deserved to do good and after having the massive hit that was I Know You Want Me, it's going to make things easier for him. I liked this song... but after hearing it at it's best at a party, It's even better!

This man needs to learn how to rap and how to come up with an even remotely original melody

This song is Cassidys "Hotel" and R. Kelly's "Ignition" blended together.

"I Know You Want Me" is his biggest hit. I remember "Culo" barely scraping the Top 30 on the Hot 100. I have a feeling this will go Top 10. He was struggling to get a major hit under Lil' Jon's label.

Ok, I listened to this and it is indeed good. However, as usual with Pitbull, the entire song revolves around the chorus which is the only good part.
Someone tell me -- which sampling is he using this time?

I know I just trashed this 3 posts up, but I've been listening to it since last night and... I love it.
It's interesting that with this song, Pitbull's completely moved away from the standard hip-hop sounds and embraced electropop and even house.
Anyone else notice that because standard hip-hop is having less radio success these days, hip-hop artists seem to be trying to get hits with electro, synth and house sounds? Almost every major hip-hop CHR hit this year has used electropop or house -- Right Round, Boom Boom Pow, Fire Burning, Day 'n Nite, I Know You Want Me, and now this.

"i know you want me" isn't even close to hip hop anymore and i don't believe it's electropop either. you're right, it's basically a house track with lyrics. fairly dull though.
but actually we're looking at one of the biggest changes of production style when it comes to producing here: after max martin, who's gone from "...baby one more time" to "behind these hazel eyes", lil jon's really come a long way: if you check out hisvold crunk stuff and compare it with "i know you want me" - who would be able to tell it's a track by lil jon? cool to see how he reinvented himself.

Wow, I didn't even know Lil Jon did I Know You Want Me. He had to evolve because even only 3 years later, crunk sounds unbelievably dated. It's definitely exciting to see whats going on in music -- 10 years ago it was hip-hop fusing with rock, now it's hip-hop and electronica. I know it may not be "real" hip hop, but I think these rappers evolving their sounds are really saving the genre and keeping it relevant. Obviously I'm speaking from a pop listener's perspective.

yeah, good points. flo rida's one of the upcoming guys due to the momentum shift as well. "low" was partly electro already and "right round" is fully electro. now he's even featured on "ruff me up" - which has little to do with rap but rather resembles a flat out electronic dance tune.
i think the producers we ought to have in mind in the coming years in electro hop will be lil jon (if he can keep it up), redone, the new jim jonsin (not the old jim "show stopper" jonsin, but the jim "i'm sampling european house music, what the heck" jonsin) and dr. luke.

so? sampling isn't illegal. the beat itself differs from his usual stuff like day and night anyways.

Aw!! My Pitbull had a smashing update today! 45 42 PITBULL Hotel Room Service 839 571 268 6.379 Go Pitbull! On Itunes: I know you want me #15 On itunes.. Hotel room service #27 :) and IKYWM is smashing the charts and itunes in UK and Europe too. :) P.S: I'm glad that people is finally recognizing Pit's talent. Pit has always had catchy songs, and most of them have charted on the Billboard. I guess the formula of his success is his flow, and his energetic voice. (Because Pitbull makes you dance!)I love his voice! :) Pitbull is so talented! and he is proving that if you've got natural talent, you don't need to be constantly on the spotlight or getting a lot of promotions on tv and other media to be a mainstream and commercial artist. I'm so happy for his success! :)

The formula of his success are his SAMPLES ...which in turn come from the producers. so basically pitbull's still the same old POS. ;)

so? sampling isn't illegal. the beat itself differs from his usual stuff like day and night anyways. I know that. I was just saying that he didn't produce the beat from scratch. Lil' Jon sampled on his earlier songs but always use a lot of bass. You don't mean Kid Cudi's "Day And Nite" because he didn't do that neither.
