Am I the only one who still doesn't understand why (a) Amnesia was never included on the Circus CD, and (b) why it wasn't released as a single? That is one of the catchiest songs she's ever done and I truly believe it would've done phenomenally well on US radio. Ah well, I'm looking forward to "3". Still love ya, Brit!

I'm still pissed they managed to royally fuck over this era. Although it was a great era, it could've done a million times better. The single choices were all fucked over, and the last two videos were terrible. Ugh! I LOVE, I repeat, LOVE Britney to death but the way they handled this era has kind of pissed me off a bit. This is what I think should've been the singles.
1) Womanizer 2) Circus 3) Out From Under 4) Kill The Lights 5) If U Seek Amy or Unusual You
This would've been the perfect era. But the way it did go though, they should've kept the momentum going because the album still had some gems on it. They still had "Unusual You" which should've been released. Then after that they could've released "Kill The Lights" and then ended the era. This album had so much potential.

This era went just fine. What more do you expect? Britney's no longer the major superstar she once was, but she has a solid, loyal following that will probably stand behind her the rest of her life.
The album sold over 1.6 million in the US...close to 4 million worldwide. The first two singles were smash hits, especially in the US. The "Circus" tour has been the top-grossing tour in 2009...you can't forget this woman has been on tour since March (over 6 months).
"Radar" was a disaster, but I think any other single would have flopped as well. Britney's on tour and can no longer support the album/singles.
I do wish she would have done a little more promotion, especially when the album initially was released, but for a comeback album after a disastrous two years, I think it was a major success. Not many artists can sell over 1.5 million albums in the US anymore.

My point was this was her major comeback and it could've went even better than it did. Had the single choices been better, and some more promotion, this would've been the PERFECT comeback. It did pretty darn good though.
