B In The Mix was such a waste. It wasn't promoted and the remixes were so-so. And Then We Kiss was single material and it even went to #1 in some country and top 15 on the Dance Charts with no promo.

Top 300 smash! I honestly can't believe it's even selling that much. I will be totally shocked if this hits the top 40 on iTunes again (for the 180th time). Can you tell me the peak of Radar on iTunes? Because you said it got to the top 40, and I believe you, but I have no clue what its peak was. I actually don't know. I think it's around #12, but again am not sure. Does anyone else know where radar peaked on iTunes?

Britney would be a FOOL to leave Jive! They made her a superstar and has given her the some of the best deals/promo/hype I have EVER SEEN for an artist. Britney from 1999-2001 was a marketing major's wet dream.
No they did not release all the right singles, but what label does? Yes BORN TO MAKE U HAPPY would have been epic and BOOM BOOM would have opened the door for her on Urban/Black radio, but what can you do?!?

Anyway, You know what? I thought a bit about it, and I actually like the idea. Someone in Jive really doesn't want to let Blackout go, and for a good reason! Blackout is a great album who deserves wider recognition. If the GH will be released, I assume one of the unreleased Blackout songs will function as a single, at one point or another. In addition, it's too soon to release a new album, and we fans still want to listen to some new great music from Britney – so that could be a great solution. Also, if the album really is going to be released in September, the likability of a Britney performance at the VMA's is much bigger!

Yes BORN TO MAKE U HAPPY would have been epic and BOOM BOOM would have opened the door for her on Urban/Black radio, but what can you do?!? I agree in every aspect. Jive has done very good by Britney, even if there have been some single choice missteps along the way. I don't see any indication of Britney being even a little unhappy with Jive. It seems that the last album in her contracts will end up being Greatest Hits albums, and then a new contract will be negotiated. GH:MP was album #5 in her 5 album contract. This GH will be album #3 in her 3 album contract. I hope when they negotiate her new contract it will be for 5 albums again. If a GH means we get new material and a VMA performance...bring it on! I just hope that there will be a new studio album in the fall of 2010. I don't think this is out of the question, even if a Greatest Hits was to be released. Remember, Britney has released something pretty much every year since her debut, the exception being the gap between GH:MP and BO.

at Piece Of Me being on there twice. So I guess "Radar" will be the final single off of "Circus" and then they will release the first single off of the "Greatest Hits" package. I know... this makes me so sad. I wanted 'OFU' to be a single sooo badly :'( Oh well, at least we'll be getting some new Britney tracks later this year. That's exciting. I love Britney, but I'm not buying the Greatest Hits album. I'll get the new tracks from iTunes or something.

Radar made it into the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart the week Blackout was released so it definitely did not get at #12 as that would be more than enough for a Hot 100 debut. I believe it peaked somewhere in the 50s.

Jive should just re-release BLACKOUT, we all know that's what they REALLY want to do.
Upcoming Singles: Nu Danja Track Get Naked and Toy Soldier

Until I read this "Greatest Hits" news on BritneySpears.com or billboard.com, then I will believe it. As of now, I don't believe it.

Im intrigued by this project and think its a great move for her. She needs out of that JIVE contract. She needs to move to a label that knows how to run a top 40 artist properly. She needs a label that is capable of producing good cd art too. Interesting. Please Elaborate. I don't think JIVE has ever been up to it to be honest. They have definitely had the most popular acts, but even then they could not go wrong. Their job was done for them essentially. Now that those acts are gone and it is time to actually do their job, they are not. They seem incapable of handling an artist that should be competing in the most commercial market. This has to do with singles, videos, artwork, promotion, timing, and the rapore between the artist and the label. I have never gotten the impression that JIVE is willing to take risks and I think for an established top 40 act like Britney, they need to show more ambition. For easy examples, I'll choose Lady Gaga's and Pink's labels as examples of where Britney should/deserves to be. Those are just two easy examples (one new, one old). They take risks, they work with the right people, they get their videos out on time, they do remixes, they do promo, always good artwork, and this may be subjective, but I think they produce a better product from start to finish. Perhaps they are more concerned with the album as a whole where JIVE is concerned with singles. Maybe? I don't know. That's just what I am thinking.

I don't believe the greatest hits rumour. Reliable source or not, until it's on britneyspears.com I'm not buying it.

They didn't show a performance on ET... unless it's still coming up, but they didn't say anything about it.
