Yeah, I actually think this treatment is both fun and clever, whereas other songs are either just blunt and brash or downright obscene. Common's part is actually my favorite of the three. Fourth, I don't like that Kanye referenced "I Love College", which is (right now) the worst song of 2009. I agree that "I Love College" is on the short list, but even worse than "You're a Jerk" or "My Wena?" That's a tough call. The radio edit ruins the point of the song by censoring out "when I" from the chorus. So now it's just Kid Cudi saying "make her say" and then Lady Gaga singing "oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh P P P Poker Face" Not having heard it on the radio, I didn't know that. That's pretty stupid. I do agree that, with that radio edit, this being a single is almost pointless.

I love it and I think it stands out from other rap songs. Oh and yeah I heard the radio edit and it's weird lol, but most ppl won't be listening that deep.

Haven't heard "My Wena", but it sounds horrifying.

My Wena is the worst of the three. And that's saying something.

Update: I just heard this song since it was posted in the Alternative forum, and yeah it's really bad. But my guess is I'd hate it a bit less if I just heard the audio, while the video is bad enough to more than negate "1985" and their cover of "London Bridge" and make me hate Bowling for Soup and, by extension, the city of Dallas.

I'm not against songs with sexual lyrics and themes, but this song is disgusting. First, I don't really like the Gaga sample used (which was apparently from an acoustic performance as stated above). Just personal preference. Second, I despise the main gimmick of the song, which is Gaga singing "P-p-p-poker face" when Cudi makes it obvious that they are "poking" a woman's face. Third, I don't like that Gaga approved the use of her sample in this song (or at least didn't try to stop it). That makes it even worse. Fourth, I don't like that Kanye referenced "I Love College", which is (right now) the worst song of 2009. And fifth, Common's line: "But they say 'You be on that conscious tip.' Get your hair right and get up on this conscious dick." f**k you, Common, and f**k this song. God, you're making it seem like this is My Humps, Part II. Chill out.

The songs are about as bad IMO, with the exception that at least Alanis Morissette did a wonderfully ironic cover of "My Humps".

Im sure Gaga knew about the sample, she was invited to the video shoot. And trust, Gagas label would be taking every single penny from Make Her Say if it wasnt approved... U can never get away with not approving samples in the record industry. This is a clever gimmick. Seems like the hip hop industry is really courting Gaga right now. If she became the new hot female guest singer for rap artists, that would be an interesting turn of events... I guess Riri's about to be SOL

Oh, my!! I came across the mention of "My Wena" on the "No Hablo Ingles" thread and now this one, so I decided to check it out Then, I watched the video in youtube and it was even worst I suppose this is funny for some people, but the video for me was more gross than funny. Ugh!
