Thanks for explaining. Performing Sober would be EPIC FAIL. The song's too old now and it would only promote the tour. Come on Alecia, burn this fucker down!

I'd rather her perform SW again, than Sober. Would be a boring performance to do for an upbeat show like the VMAs.

I saw the original clip too so I can back you up, they original just showed pieces of P!nk's VMA performance of "So What" last year and said that she would be performing a new version of "Sober" and they also said that Green Day would perform "21 Guns". For some reason they deleted that clip and instead posted the one you see now. Before they had a lot of footage of Katy Perry, Chace Crawford and Taylor Swift too as well as footage with Muse. They gutted everything out now though. I don't know why.

Yeah, I also saw the original one you're talking about too. The original definitely said Sober, there's no question about that. Glad they got rid of that part though. I knew that couldn't have been right when I first saw the video.

Cant view it.. If shes doing Sober I hope that means there will be acrobatics! Too bad this wasnt when the song was current! Im kinda torn, promo for the tour and P!nk herself as an artist/performer is great to me, people need to know what she brings to her live shows, but it was two singles ago. It would be cool if she could add Funhouse in there though if thats the current single. I'd rather her perform SW again, than Sober. Would be a boring performance to do for an upbeat show like the VMAs. Not if she does acrobatics, thats more of a show stopper than SW or Funhouse, IMO anyway.

She is not performing Sober. She is performing Funhouse. Yes, there is a clip of Sober but that does not mean she is performing it. It means it was a high performing single and a video she is known for and they selected it. She is performing Funhouse because it is her new single. She said she is going to burn the roof off. Performing Sober is not burning the roof off lol

Funhouse (tour version) would be awesome VMA performence. Not as show stopping as Sober would be (with the trapeze) but still a VERY AWESOME performance. I'm sure she will add more to it or cahnge it up for the VMAs.
And I think, basing on how well songs like UUH and SW performed, I think FH should do well as a single in the US. She's coming off of a lot of hits now. FH is so catchy, with a realthumping beat. The has always been behind when it comes to Pink but a great song is a great song, IMO.
I can't wait for the VMAS or rather I can't wait to see how it will help her in the US. A performance on a late night talk show, morning show or Ellen would be AWESOME! This tour needs promotion. Some real heavy promo would be awesome. It is doubtful but it would be great. Pink is doing well in the States WITHOUT promo. A Platinum album, three songs that have performed very well with no promo... image how well she would do if she did a bit of that during the tour... I mean there are only a dozen or so dates... it can be done.

So far I think she's released all the right singles in all the right order. IAYF sounds a bit too Max-Martin-y and even though its one of the most commercial tracks, I don't think it works in P!nk's favor. "Bad Influence" is only marginally single-worthy. I honestly think her only big mistake was leaving "This Is How It Goes Down" off the album--that could have been a very successful single I think.

^Thats cause theres a lot of great tracks. My favorites would be Sober, Funhouse, Please Don't Leave Me, Its All Your Fault, Glitter In The Air & So What. Ava Mary A & Crystal Ball are my least favorites, but I still like those.

Ava Mary A & Crystal Ball are my least favorites, but I still like those. Yep, the album is a gold mine of quality songs. Here's how I'd rank the album (but the top 10 are all pretty much perfection in my book though): 1. So What 2. It's All Your Fault 3. Mean (took awhile to grow on me, but I adore this one now) 4. Please Don't Leave Me 5. Sober 6. Glitter In the Air 7. I Don't Believe You 8. Bad Influence 9. Ave Mary A 10. Crystal Ball 11. Funhouse (warmed up to it compared to how I used to feel about it, but it still doesn't measure up to the above 10 to me) 12. One Foot Wrong (only mediocre song on the album)

Performing Sober is not burning the roof off lol ??? According to "People" where I saw the quote from she said 'blow the roof off'. It's on the previous page.. unless you know something we don't. And there was a different video b4 where the guy said she was performing Sober, thats where they got the idea. *** My ranking: 1. So What 2. Please Don't Leave Me 3. Sober // Boring 4. It's All Your Fault 5. Bad Influence // This Is How It Goes Down 6. Mean 7. Crystal Ball 8. I Don't Believe You 9. Glitter In The Air 10. Funhouse 11. Ava Mary A 12. One Foot Wrong

Never fails to surprise me how many people rank Sober #1. Love it to death, but it's definitely overrated, imo.

Precisely why this has become one of my favorite tracks ever by Pink. She pumps up tha funk! This is catchy, danceable, but at the same time I love the lyrics. They aren't as happy as the music, and it creates an interesting dichotomy.

If her vocals were better and the music was better it would be one of my top favorites as well.
