Love her chart history! Almost as impressive as her UWC history! :) The singles that missed the UK Top 10: Lucky Star #14 Take A Bow #16 One More Chance #11 Oh Father #16* Love Profusion #11 Miles Away #39** So she has 67 Top 20 singles and 68 Top 40/charting singles in the UK. *Released to promote STR, was not a single in the LAP era. *The only one to miss the Top 20, and that was WB's fault for not releasing the video, it merely leaked online months later. Some promo/push from WB would have helped as well.

The UK loves Madonna, Elvis and Michael Jackson but the USA seems to love the Beatles and certainly Elton John in the 70's more- maybe it's a "country" thing.

MJ actually can't touch Madonna, Elvis, the Beatles, and Cliff Richard in the UK.
The Beatles' all time best seller success in the states is duplicated in the UK and Elton's US and UK success are about the same comparatively.

Good ridence to Warner. It's sad to say that after SO SO long.
Can I ask who will decide all of M's singles/promo etc? I know she had a say in a lot of that, but I assumed that she had a team at Warner that helped her there... who will do that at LN? Will it be all up to M?

That depends on which record label LN licenses the album to.

Today is 27 years to the day that "Everybody" was released as a single in the US, becoming her first single in any market.

Awesome! Revolver is up to 4 spins on POP. SMASH! But it would be shocking if this took off on its own, without even being an actual single. I wonder if Madonna would rush out a video, or not care at all.

Madonna has just yoga-ed off every last ounce of fat on her body. She looks amazing though.

I don't know why people post the "to date" numbers.. they don't even matter.
Revolver has 8 spins this week- 4 on Pop, 4 on Rhythmic.

She was carried onto "Late Night With David Letterman" last night (Sept. 30) on hockey sticks held by members of the New York Rangers and, this week, Madonna makes a notable, if somewhat less heralded, entrance on Latin Songs. "Celebration" debuts at No. 45, marking just her third entry on the list among her bounty of career hits. "You'll See" reached No. 21 in 1996, and "American Life" rose to No. 43 in 2003. I'm surprised AL made it, I used to hear Music alot on the latin stations when I used to live in LA. I think that instead of "You'll See", it was "Veras" the song to reach #21 on the Latin chart. "Veras" is the Spanish version of "You'll See" included in the "Something to Remember" album (at least for Latin countries).
