Is this confirmed to be a track on her upcoming #1s album? I wonder if there will be more bonus tracks or new tracks on this release.

I'm still on the fence. It's really catchy, but I don't feel it's that memorable. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm amazed that POP.URBAN & RHY are all play this song in very musch alike spins! looks like this could be a multi-format hit! now it's time that the record send out the song a HQ copy to all the radio & an add date.

From VibeIt's hard to look at Janet Jackson and not instinctively feel sympathy, given her--our--immense loss. Luckily, "Make Me," a new song released as a gift to fans, requires no pity partying. Just partying. Over a throbbing bass line, Janet coos as confident as ever while goading a partner to dance and... whatever else might happen: "I see you against the wall, boy, what you waiting for/I want you to take control now." Fun, rhythmic, buoyant--it's the type of rebound we'd hoped for with 2008's Discipline, where Jackson teamed up with Rodney Jerkins in search of a youthful edge that only seemed to date her. They got it right here though, as Jerkins taps into Janet's sense of fanciful pleasure, rewinding time in a Janet way. We'll reserve the official comeback stamp, though it's a positive sign of things to come. -Clover Hope

I am surpised it's not taking off at more Uac stations the song seems like it's fit their format , cause of that throw back feel to it.

Urban seems to be taking off quite well and not pop.

^^ The song was released to stations digitally, but didn't have an adds date. In the past, URB is the panel most likely to give unsolicited spins in comparison to UAC and POP. So this is no surprise. :)
Can't believe it's only a week old. I've listened to it so much, it's part of me now!

Believe me. the song HASN'T released to all stations digitally, if it did, we've been listening to HQ version instead of listening to LQ rip from her site right now. hopefully, the label would send out the song to all stations & get an add date ASAP. maybe this week.

The first full airplay week effect:
Spins: 112 (-39)
HAC: 2 (-1) POP: 41 (-12) URB: 44 (-7) UAC: 6 (+2) RHY: 19 (-21)
A.I.: 0.556 M (-0.427 M)
I really wish they'd make an official announcement re: the greatest hits and this song.

I just think the song sounds a bit too much like a throwback. She should have released something more current-sounding. I do like it, but I don't think it has radio potential. I think it's a shame that Feedback didn't take off on Pop... it was awesome.

I love the song but I never expected it to take off without a proper adds date. Plus, some people's expectations are too high. Whoever spins it, spins it for now. And that's fine. I'm still moving and grooving!

Why the sudden loss in spins? ??? It's no longer gaining day by day because it was first spun over a week ago. For the first 7 days, it had over 100 spins. Now that it's a week later, it finally has a bullet, whether negative or positive. According to Quick Cut Info, it's growing on Pop, Urban, and UAC, but losing on Rhythmic.
