Ridiculous how NOTHING was done to promote BIBO after its release. Why bother coming back if you can't at least put on a couple shows for the fans you have left?

Still holding out hope she follows through with that intimate/small venue tour next year after "Younger" finishes filming season 2. parade.com/413466/walterscott/will-hilary-duff-be-touring-again-soon/

At Last, The Hilary Duff Cover of a Fleetwood Mac Classic We’ve All Been Waiting Forby Bradley Stern December 16, 2015 1:52 PM Put your copy of Santa Clause Lane on pause for a brief moment, because Hilary Duff is blessing us with an early Christmas surprise: The superstar, formerly known as Lizzie McGuire and currently known as Kelsey Peters of Younger, has recorded a cover of “Little Lies” by Fleetwood Mac. According to People (where the track teaser premiered this morning), the Breathe In. Breathe Out. ’00s pop icon recorded her pulsing update to the 1987 Tango in the Night hit, which she worked on with Glee producers Alex and Adam Anders, for the second season of her TV Land series Younger. “They did a great job. It really makes you want to dance,” Hil gushed about the producers. “It’s a little heavier and a little darker toward the end. I think it’s going to fit really well with the show.” Think Hilary’s an odd pick to take on the legendary rock troupe? Well, think again. “Fleetwood Mac is seriously one of my favorite bands of all time,” Queen Duff revealed in an interview about recording the cover. TV Land called me. And it's like when the boss is calling you, and you're like, 'What did I do now?'" Duff says with a laugh. "They were like, 'We want you to cover a song for the promos for the second season.' And I'm like, 'Oh my God. Yes, of course, I would love to.'” queen of inconsistency

And I'm sure there was some strife with her label about promo. But yeah, a little more promo could have gone a long way.

Hilary Duff is writing new music!
Hilary Duff stated that she is writing new music for #HD6 in between working on her TV show "Younger" and being a mother.

^She basically says she's going to do another record. It's the touring and promoting that she seems so iffy on.
Also, can we calm down with that big, bolded font and centering?

Why bother dropping records you aren't even going to promote for your fans? It's not even about record sales to me at this point but don't be so selfish about it.

I'd rather get another album and have her not promote it than not get anything. Breathe In. Breathe Out. was very good. Also, I don't think Breathe In. Breathe Out.'s overall performance is entirely her fault. RCA messed up the single launch in more ways than we can count. I know people are offended she turned a Fleetwood Mac song into this little dance track, but I kinda love it?? It's so fun. Reminds me of when she tried to be even clubbier and released "Play with Fire" as a first single.

Honestly I'm fine with Little Lies, it was just a fun rework of lyrics from a classic song that isn't made to be better than the original.

What would be more selfish, releasing music you barely promote for the sake of raising a kid or not giving the fans anything at all? If she waits until her son is grown she'll be 40. She clearly wants to be in her child's life and there's nothing selfish about that. And while it'd be nice to have the tours and award show performances, at the end of the day I'd much rather "just" have new music than nothing at all.

No, Hilary doesn't get a pass because she has a kid; plenty of artist successfully run their careers and manage their family life. No one's asking her to launch a 70-date world tour and 2-year promo run either like she used to do but she could very easily plan a couple of spot dates here and there just to perform for her fans.

She's got a TV show, she's recording music, on top of that she'd have to rehearse for said shows and actually show up for them, couple that with any additional promo of ventures... where does the kid come in? Unless you're suggesting she go the "raised by the nanny" route but, like... really? She's a recording artist. Just be happy she's recording at all.

The way I see it, she wants to do it all without really taking the fans into consideration. Sure, it's great that we actually get to hear new music and for those who enjoy her show watch her there too... but she's not giving it her all. Of course her kid comes first, but if she ALSO wants to be out there and do stuff then she better give it her all.

Of course her kid comes first, but if she ALSO wants to be out there and do stuff then she better give it her all. So instead of giving fans of her music a new album, you'd rather her give her fans nothing... because she doesn't want to promote? I'm sorry, but I don't understand. The way I see it, she is giving as much as anyone should expect of her. Practically anyway. People act like she owes her fans something for buying her old stuff. She doesn't. Hell, they barely bought her last record anyway. The fans (should) want music first and foremost. The label should want promo because that's how they get money. As long as she's making music at all, and to less than appealing commercial success, she's doing her fans a service. Again, I don't understand why someone wouldn't be happy about that and, as a fan, support her in her decision to pursue motherhood? lmao

Hilary really needs to get her priorities straight.
Can't she write an open letter to her fans?

Any chance they could take this & run with it for remixes/radio? It'll be cool to see her get another #1 dance hit to her resume. It's been so long since "Reach Out"!
