I don't think it's BAD, but it's just okay. I don't think his music as a whole is that great with the exception of a few songs.

This song is excellent. We'll see if radio stations forgive, I know they won't forget.

This is terrible. If he actually had a chance of coming back right now he'd need a really, really great song. This is pretty much as far from that as it gets. This will do nothing - a lot of stations (probably the majority) are still against him and this won't change their minds and this certainly won't change the general public's mind either.

Why would he come out with this horrible track? More importantly why would his record company let him?

Why would he come out with this horrible track? More importantly why would his record company let him? Its Jive remember. The same label that followed his #1 worldwide smash FOREVER with the biggest flop in history:SUPERHUMAN with Keri Hilson. Jive don't know what the hell they are doing at that label.

I really think this is a hit if it didn't have "CHRIS BROWN" in the title. If it were Lil Wanye and Swizz -- I Can Transform Ya, nobody is arguing that this is easily going top 30.

First "Changed Man" and now "I Can Transform Ya"? It's a little inappropriate considering the incident from earlier in the year; not to mention tacky as hell. This is a serious downgrade from his previous singles. The chorus is just unpleasant and not even a Swizz Beats production could save this sinking ship. Yeah, I seriously thought the name was a joke when I saw this thread. Seriously, who on earth thought it was a good idea for a woman beater to release a single called I Can Transform Ya? And yes, this song sucks majorly, and no me saying that has nothing to do with my personal feelings towards him.

This is awful. It's generic as hell and not catchy whatsoever.

I liked most of his previous and I'm ready to support his new music, but this is not strong enough even without the Rihanna thing. Sorry but Chris if you want us to keep supporting you, gotta come up with better stuff than this.

Why are people calling this a "comeback"? Didn't "Forever" take off LAST YEAR? This is not a comeback!

Why are people calling this a "comeback"? Didn't "Forever" take off LAST YEAR? This is not a comeback! A comeback does not always need to be from a large amount of time elapsing. In this case there are clearly other circumstances. And unfortunately, this song does stand a chance on pop radio. If that Ester Dean track could impact, this may too.

If Chris Brown wants to make a worthwhile return, he should wait it out a little longer. Some time out of the spotlight would do him a lot better than rushing out with new material that will likely get trashed by his critics.
Even though several months have passed since the incident, right now is still NOT the best time to be putting out new material that will most likely be reminding people of it. And clearly this is reflected upon some of the titles we've seen for his new material: "Changed Man", "Transformer" or "I Can Transform Ya".
With everything that's happened since then, especially his recent sentencing, I don't think he's in the proper mindset to release his best material.

Are we supposed to take this s**t seriously? Absolutely TERRIBLE. Crap production/lyrics/attempt to make an unwelcome 'comeback'.

This thing sounds like it was produced in someone's garage on an Apple laptop and an iPhone Vocoder app.

Not a fan. Might do well who know's. I hate what he did to Rihanna and hate him as a person but if he would have came out with something as hot as "Forever" I can see myself lovin the song.

This."I Can Transform Ya" is probably his worst single at the most crucial point in his career.
