Who's dwelling on the past? I'm talking about listening to his songs now. ;) saying things like "I can't listen to any song from him without Feb. 8th being in the back of my head." is very much so dwelling on the past. What an absurd statement. People can't help if they listen to his songs about failed relationships and think about the girlfriend he assaulted. It's called a natural correlation. And it happened earlier this year, it's not like it's the distant past.

I'm not TRYING to dwell on the past, but everytime I listen to his songs I get the image of him pummeling a chick which makes his songs seem harder to believe. That's only for his love songs though. His songs about spending money on girls and fucking them, I can listen just fine.

I mean, really though? I Can Transform Ya? Crawl? "And now I can't reach your face"? He's clearly not ashamed of what he has done.

It sucks that radio is hesitant to play anything Chris Brown due to the incident. I mean, he did make a mistake, but it's time to move on. Rihanna moved on and forgave him. That's all that matters. He doesn't need to apologize to everyone nor do we deserve it. It's saddening to see people say he should commit suicide, go to prison forever, or hide in exile. An incident like that don't equate to a lifetime of suffering..
Anyways, I love this song.. one of his best tracks

He won't get a lifetime of suffering but his actions (especially when it comes to something as serious as abuse) does have consequences, especially if it's done in the public eye.
Granted this era should not even be going on now, it's about 6 months too early, so that is another dumb action with its own consequences.
