Looks like Jessie James' album "Daughter of a Gypsy" will drop 3/29/11! According to Jessie she's going country so I'm assuming this will fall under the country genre. www.walmart.com/ip/14935886I love her and wish her the best.

Ugh, this can't come soon enough for me. I wish it was being released in February but at least we have a date now. www.cmt.com/news/news-in-brief/1653937/sara-evans-new-album-stronger-due-march-8.jhtmlSara Evans' New Album, Stronger, Due March 8 December 9, 2010 Sara EvansSara Evans will release a new album, Stronger, on March 8 on RCA Nashville. The project's first single is "A Little Bit Stronger," written by Luke Laird, Hillary Lindsey and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. Evans issued a Greatest Hits album in 2007, but her previous album of all-new material, Real Fine Place, was released in 2005. Her upcoming tour dates include Friday (Dec. 10) in Bangor, Maine; Saturday (Dec. 11) in Lowell, Mass.; and Sunday (Dec. 12) in Johnstown, Pa.

Sara Evans - "Stronger" Album Cover Source: Sara Evans Website I am so excited for this album! I love me some Sara Evans, and I hope that "Stronger" will do well for her. The cover is pretty simple but pretty. Sara doesn't need some crazy cover, simple covers do her well.

I'm just as stoked about the new Sara Evans album as everyone who posted before me!!
And I agree, that cover is simple, yet extremely gorgeous.

The cover looks plain and boring. And yes she doesnt need a crazy album cover but they couldve done a much better cover than that. But im super happy for new sara music its been way too long. Reba came back last year, sara came back this year, im just waiting for shania to come back now.

It doesn't feel like Sara has been gone that long, but I guess she has. Her last studio album came out around the same time as Faith's last one, but it feels like Faith has been gone so much longer. I guess that's because Sara's greatest hits album spawned a few hits and kept her in the spotlight a little bit longer. I'm looking forward to getting this when it comes out - "A Little Bit Stronger" has become one of my favourties right now.

But I think it's WAY too early to make predictions. *If* this were to be in the top 5 at the time the album is released, I could see a debut of around 75k.

WOAH!! 75K.., as much as i would love to see her open with that, i dont see it happening. I would give it a maximum 50K, but over 70K is way too high for sara. I dont see it selling more in its first week than reba, miranda and toby keith did with their latest albums.

I was disappointed that first week's sales of Hits Alive was 31,000.

They already own all the other songs if they're big fans of his.

Thanks. Is there actually anywhere to listen to clips? I just see the songs listed, but maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, I'm excited to buy some more of my cousin's music. I especially can't wait to have a copy of "Last Horse."

Kind of a creepy album artwork, but nonetheless I plan on owning this album when it comes out! It'll be a few days late, but it'll be like a birthday present for me, lol. =)

WOW!! What a great cover :) They look kind of evil but still. Im still trying to decide whether or not to buy the album or not. I expect them to do a maximum of 20K in its first week.

"Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" has been one of my favorite songs for months now, and I just don't get tired of it at all. The video is perfect, too!!
I will also say that they look a tad bit, idk, almost creepy, in that album cover. It seems like they've got a bit different taste in fashions compared to the "mainstream country crowd", but I watched their seasons greetings video clip from YouTube, and of course I've seen the video for AYGKMON many times, and this couple seems like a great, very fun duo with great, unique personality. Unless I'm mistaken, this will be the first album released on Stoney Creek Records, so what an accomplishment!
I think if they decided to release "Let's Fight" now that they're more established, it might do well. It charted for a couple weeks before they pulled it in favor of AYGKMON as the first single, and I think that was a wise choice. I wasn't as keen on "Let's Fight" as I am with AYGKMON, but it sounded decent enough and could grow on me, so...I think it's still got single potential.
From what I can tell by the rest of the previews, just about everything sounds pretty good. I don't hear any super-amazing "blow your mind" away songs on here, but there are a few songs that stand out. For a debut album, they play it pretty safe with a lot of radio-friendly country-pop material, but as a whole it's pretty good.
If I had to pick 4 more singles from here (I can see 3 more coming after AYGKMON), I'd go with "I Don't Want To Miss You" (sounds like a decent ballad), "One Of Those Days" (love Shawna's vocals on this clip!), "I Got You" (another good uptempo), and "Let's Fight" (very great unique uptempo), though I also enjoy "As Bad As It Gets", "Who Loves Who More", and "Getaway Car" quite a bit.
Another thing I really enjoy about this album is the shared vocals. Keifer's voice is a bit lower and more gravelly than a lot of other guys out there, so it works pretty good. It's not the best voice I've ever heard, but he sounds pretty good. Shawna has a great voice as well, and while she's not the best female vocalist I've ever heard, she can still sing good. I'll be waiting for this album to drop in February!

I'm going to buy the album when it comes out, I'm hoping that "Getaway Car" is the same song the Jenkins recorded a few years back.
