^I completely agree. I'd love to see Thompson Square emerge as a force in the industry, and hopefully Steel Magnolia too. Heck, throw a Montgomery Gentry comeback in there as well...

I wouldn't mind seeing Steel Magnolia see more success as well, but they need better material. So far I haven't really cared for any of their singles, and the new one sounds pretty 'meh' as well. And I don't like MG... never did. What I'd really love to see; Joey + Rory emerge as a force in the industry. It won't happen because they're on an indie label and are too neo-traditional, but they're above-and-beyond the most talented duo, IMHO.

Montgomery Gentry will be back as soon as Eddie kicks the Prostate Cancer...HE recently had a cancerous tumor removed or is scheduled to.

There's a write-up about it on The Boot that said Sara was really striving for a Valentine's Day release date, so that it can come out soon after the Country Strong film hits theatres. www.theboot.com/2010/11/10/sara-evans-stronger-new-album-2011-release-date/

JAN 18 (2011)The Janedear Girls " The Janedear Girls" (Warner Nashville) Source: Amazon Not a fan of "Wildflower," but I still am really happy to see it performing well for the sake of seeing females breaking through, which is far too unlikely as of late. I'm insterested in hearing what the rest of the album sounds like. Hopefully its good and we can have a female country duo again.

JAN 25 (2011)James Wesley " Real" (Broken Bow) Source: Amazon Really excited for this one...I can't wait 'til we'll be able to hear a bit of it! The song "Real" has been one of my favorites for months, tho it didn't start getting airtime on my local station 'til it was over 20 weeks old already. But now I keep hearing it more and more, and it seems like it'll be able to have a chance at the top 20 by the time the album is out. Hopefully James can establish himself as the #2 guy on BBR, behind Jason Aldean.

^Also really excited about 'Real'. His 2 singles this year (Jackson Hole, Real) have been outstanding, and his voice is also very nice to listen to alike fellow new artists, Randy Houser, Easton Corbin, Chris Young. I hope Wesley can take off next year!
Sounds like the title track will be able to make the top 20, and hopefully top 10!

Through the past couple of weeks The Judds have discussed there new music.
Spring 2011 Wynonna Judd will be releasing her next Solo CD and it will contain 8 songs sung by Wynonna and then there will be 4 songs recorded by The Judds on the album.

JAN 25 (2011)Joe Nichols " Greatist Hits" (Show Dog - Universal) Source: Amazon Considering Joe Nichols has 12 major (top 20) hits out of 14 top 40s, a Greatest Hits CD is justified.
