^I think she should go to Jive. Yeah they are good with only twentysomethings but that's okay. Anyone who can get Britney 3 Top 2 songs from her last era is the label to go to! Def Jam has killed too many artist careers over the years. I think Interscope is where she needs to go. I think that lable handles their artists very well.

^Other than GaGa, Interscope is horrible.
- They have YET to get Keri a solo hit (everything after Knock U Down flopped worse than a Memoirs single) - JoJo album has been in limbo for 3 years - Enrique Inglesias, Cassie, LMFAO (do i even need to start) - 50 Cent (Mariah might as well stay with Island if she wants her albums to do worse and worse than the previous one)
Interscope sucks. Jive is where it's at.
- Britney (made her Queen again) - Justin (always makes sure he hits hard) - Chris Brown (at least hooked him with nice set of producers/writers, can't help he likes to beat up women) - Jordin Sparks, Ciara (well they just plain sucks)

I hope they just reales the songs to Itunes and not make full single realeses. I don't think she should record a new album already though, she really needs to take a break. Maybe just put out a new holiday album, to hold fans over for a year or so.

New album already? Lol, so much for everyone saying she was going to take a break after this. I suspect Mariah doesn't wants kids.

Another Christmas album!? :o I hope that comes to fruition. As long as she keeps Dream and Tricky out of it. Maybe even bring Walter back for one or 2 songs. It would need to be CLASSIC.

Nah, they are too busy with their crackpipes to work on any more Mariah music. As for Walter, this isn't 1995. Though, she would be catering to her fan's classic demand. Where is Mike Tuinstra?

Chris lighty has done nothing for mariah. He's done nothing but make her career go down the drain. She needs real management and she needs to get rid of all the YES people and hire unbiased people to work for her.

Perhaps the concept of leaving them wanting more is lost on Mimi and her people? If anything occurs before year's end, I'm hoping for a holiday album, because another studio album so soon, after the wall-to-wall releases since 2008, would do her little good.

Rihanna released 3 CDs in the span of 2 years and got 20 pop hits out of them. Radio ALWAYS wipes the slate clean when it comes to new Mariah projects. Bringin On The Heartbreak flopped...It's Like That did nice Say Something flopped...Touch My Body was huge I Stay In Love flopped ever worse...Obsessed was a big hit I see no reason why her new single won't hit. I just hope she has another 2 uptempos ready to follow it up with.

Below is the official response that Mariah's label, Island Def Jam, is sending out to outlets who are inquiring about the Angels Advocate album.
"We've released a few of Mariah's hot remixes on iTunes and Mariah's back in the studio working on some new surprises."
Stay tuned for further details about this exciting news!

If you read between the lines, her team and label are just politely saying that it's not going well, and they are trying to find out what to do.

Where are people getting the dropped thing from? I might be blind, but I can't actually see anything about it.

Not surprise that the album was dropped. It's for the best I think. It was pretty obivous by Up out my face and Angel's Cry underperformance that the album wasn't going to do well.
Please wait a year or two. I know shes not getting any younger, but if she wait's some time the anticipation will be there.
Novemember 2013 release a new album, but make sure it's of the higest quality, mixing both radio friendly trendy stuff, but also stuff with substance. I still think Mimi can have another comeback, but she needs to take a break, another flop too soon will be a disastuh.

I don't know why there's a new album thread, when this era apparently isn't done yet (especially if there will be another single/"remix" released). Th starter of this thread or a moderator should just change the title back to Memoirs...
Anyhow, Memoirs... is featured in this week's Target ad as one of the $7.98 specials. Don't be surprised to see a big jump next week, like it saw a couple weeks back when Best Buy had it in its circular.
