I think 'Tik Tok' will always be considered as Ke$ha's signature song IMO. It is possible, but I genuinely think this chick could pull out some bigger hits or at least AS big of hits. I remember similar things being said about many other female artists (Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Avril, Rihanna) who later went on to have even bigger or at least as big signature hits happen.

She's only released ONE single. It's a bit early to talk about her signature song.

She's only released ONE single. It's a bit early to talk about her signature song. Yeah it's way to early to say that. But "Tik Tok" is a very memorable single everyone seems to know it and for the most part like it. These kinds of singles do not come along all that often. "Tik Tok" is a fantastic debut single for Ke$ha and the production is intoxicating. She is certainly not a one hit wonder with the material on "Animal".

I don't think I've ever had such a disconnect between my adoration of an artist's music and my loathing of an artist's image. Luckily I'm able to divorce the two and enjoy her absurdly catchy music.

I agree, although she's definitely looking less dirty, in a literal sense lately, which has been my main turn off. It's more like she just forgot to take a shower that day, and less she forgot to take a shower that year.

This is seriously one of the worst songs I have ever heard on first listen. She sounds like a drunk girl at a karaoke bar. Tik Tok doing well I get...this I don't.

How many copies of Animal does she have to sell to get the water hooked back up? I know the business is rough these days.

i love this song. The next single needs to be "TAKE IT OFF" its catchy as hell. Save the ballads for last. they ruin the momentum

And here I thought I was the only one who felt like throwing a bucket of water and soap on her everytime I see her. Tik Tok is catchy but I think this new song is a mess. But then again that doesnt seem to stop pop radio these days.

I can't stand her but I'm seriously in love with Your Love Is My Drug I still wish that had been the 2nd single. It's fun meaningless pop at it's strongest. This, on the other hand... But I guess that due to this song's (unfortunate) iTunes success, this was the obvious choice. Once again....hoping for a quick rise/quick fall situation as I don't think I can stomach hearing this too much

Save the ballads for last. they ruin the momentum IA. I think she should do 3 uptempo singles then a slow cut then do another uptempo for last.

Back to 7 on iTunes! But I think that's just because "Replay" is falling.

Is this definitely the 2nd single now? I guess that makes sense, but YLIMD must must must be next -- it's one of the most joyous, infectious dance-pop songs I've ever heard.

Backstabber is actually great. So is Dinosaur. I think I like this b***hes quirky/funny songs, like those 2 plus PAARDH more than the tracks that would make good singles, like YLIMD and Kiss and Tell

Is this really her next single? It's the worst song on the album imo. I think it should be YLIMD, although my personal favorites are "Backstabber" and "Boots & Boys." :)

VIP would be a great single if it was on the album. Such a great song. I can't BBB. But good luck Kesha.

I also love "Boots & Boys" maybe not single material but it's fun funky and infectious. I love the production on that track.

BBB is everything that you stated ten times over then what Boots and Boys ever will be. I am so tired of Taylor going #1 on iTunes with her random album tracks/promo singles. I hope the tweens find something new quick. Between her and Bieber it's just sickening. The song will be there for three days and then plummet and it will probably get a top 20 placement. That being said I think BBB's consistency just proves that it's going to be another big hit for her. She most likely won't go #1 with it because downloads were so massive the first week out but it will do very well considering the earlier immense digital success and how it's still fairing very well even with minimal airplay support.
