I have a couple questions. Besides americanradiohistory.com or Billboard’s site (which will only allow you to go back to 2006) is there another site you can find all the year end charts from the 90’s, 2000’s and even before without having a subscription? Last question is there a thread showing all the year end country single charts by year?

Why was there not an issue last night? Anyone know? I'm on break right now at work and just checked my e-mail. No update yet. Very strange.

Why was there not an issue last night? Anyone know? No. Usually in previous years, the year-end Billboard issue is the last issue of the year. Last week's issue, had the year-end lists.

Since there’s no updates for the rest of the year, we’ll have to wait until Wednesday when bdsradio.com updates all the charts. Unless somebody can figure out a way to get the chart beforehand. I seriously doubt Billboard will update their site tomorrow since it’s Christmas Day.

Also don't expect the new chart peaks to be shown in the artist chart history today or tomorrow since today is Christmas Eve.

Here is what I know of the top 40 based on searching artists chart history on Billboard. If they set a new peak date of Dec. 29 anyways. The only 2 artists that were in the top 40 last week that I can't check their history is Riley Green and Tyler Rich due to the fact it's their debut single I guess. Anyways here is the songs and their new peaks so it's up to you all to fill in the blanks and predict the others. Songs in italics are the positions I don't know I've made my prediction on.
1. Speechless - Dan + Shay 2. She Got The Best Of Me - Luke Combs
3. Best Shot - Jimmie Allen
4. Lose It - Kane Brown
5. Good Girl - Dustin Lynch 6. Sixteen - Thomas Rhett
7. Girl Like You - Jason Aldean 8. Burning Man - Dierks Bentley ft. Brothers Osborne
9. Last Shot - Kip Moore
10. This Is It - Scotty McCreery 11. What makes You Country - Luke Bryan 12. Millionaire - Chris Stapleton 13. Take It From Me - Jordan Davis 14. Burn Out - Midland
15. There Was This Girl - Riley Green 16. Down To The Honkytonk - Jake Owen 17. Make It Sweet - Old Dominion 18. One That Got Away - Michael Ray 19. Love Wins - Carrie Underwood
20. Beautiful Crazy - Luke Combs 21. Night Shift - Jon Pardi 22. Neon Church - Tim McGraw
23. Never Comin Down - Keith Urban
24. On My Way To You - Cody Johnson 25. Here Tonight - Brett Young 26. The Difference - Tyler Rich
27. Miss Me More - Kelsea Ballerini 28. Love Someone - Brett Eldredge 29. Love Ain't - Eli Young Band 30. Eyes On You - Chase Rice 31. Rumor - Lee Brice 32. Caught Up In The Country - Rodney Atkins 33. Talk You Out Of It - Florida Georgia Line 34. Whiskey Glasses - Morgan Wallen 35. Feels Like A Party - LoCash 36. What Whiskey Does - Randy Houser 37. Friends Don't - Maddie & Tae 38. Better Boat - Kenny Chesney ft. Mindy Smith
39. Buy My Own Drinks - Runaway June 40. Back To Life - Rascal Flatts

Merry Christmas To Everyone here at Pulse! I've got big plans for 2019 as far as new threads are concerned! Not only that my goal is to finally finish my Christian Airplay Top 10 thread as well. I've had a couple ideas rolling in my head and I'm willing to put the time and effort in these to make the Country forum an even more awesome one! For now enjoy this weeks Country Airplay Chart (The final chart of 2018). Again Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone here at Pulse!

Hopefully in a few weeks there's a good chart cleaning so some of the songs below the 40 will enter the 40. Luke, Kane And Jimmie hopefully all 3 will go soon and Kenny will be gone hopefully next week as he's missed the top 20 for the first time since the 90's when "I Will Stand" missed the top 20.

If I'm not mistaken, Luke Combs having two songs in the top 20 marks the first time that has happened since Toby Keith's double shot of "I Love This Bar" and "American Soldier" in 2003 and '04.

And for it to he happening to a guy on singles 4 and 5 of a deluxe version of his debut album is in itself downright astonishing. I can only imagine what the sales will be for week 1 of album #2...

Didn't Tim McGraw have three songs in the top 20 in 2016? His solo How I'll Always Be and his duets with Florida Georgia Line, May We All and Big & Rich, Lovin' Lately.

I think Florida Georgia Line May have had 2 last year with Meant To Be and Up Down and maybe 3 if Simple had made it to the top 20 in time.

I was talking about solo hits only, no duets.

For some reason I want to say Kenny did it sometime between 2007-2010 but I forget what songs they were or if it even happened.

For some reason I want to say Kenny did it sometime between 2007-2010 but I forget what songs they were or if it even happened. Was it Never Wanted Nothing More and Don’t Blink? Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. On the Sept. 8, 2007 chart Never Wanted Nothing More dropped from #1 to #3 while Don’t Blink debuted at #17, the highest debut ever at the time. That record lasted a whole week; the following week Garth’s More Than a Memory debuted at #1. Both Kenny Chesney songs were in the top 20 for eight weeks; Never Wanted Nothing More was still in the top 20 when Don’t Blink reached #1.
ETA: This week's airplay chart is now posted on bdsradio.com.

I am assuming the PDF won't come back until next week? It seems to me like it usually returns the week after New Year’s. If that’s what happens this time it would mean taking three weeks off rather than two last year. A year ago the year-end issue was Dec. 18 and it returned Jan. 8. This year the year-end issue was basically a week earlier (Dec. 10), so assuming it doesn’t return tonight it would be a three-week break.

Luke Bryan's O Holy Night re-entered Country Airplay at #58. Dylan Scott's Santa Claus Is Coming To Town debuted at #60. Gene Autry's Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer And Other Christmas Classics is #1 country album this week.

Was hoping for no christmas songs on the chart at all this year, but at least it was minimal! 1. Are you the Christian/Gospel Poster of the Year? You should want Christmas songs on the chart. 2. Realistically speaking, some Christmas songs should be charting at this time of the year. That we had to wait for the second week of the new year to get some is a long enough wait.

Not all Christmas music is religious, in fact, most Christmas music (even the ones that originated in scripture) I would say is largely interpreted at secular at this day in age. I feel like lots of people who aren't Christian will still listen to Christmas music and a lot of people don't really "hear" the message because these songs are so deeply rooted into popular culture at this point. Also, they just mess up the charts and take up space. That's why I truly don't care for them.
