Man, the chart is so backed up at the moment, the worst I have seen it yet in my lifetime analyzing the charts. The chart for both Billboard and Mediabase is in need of a SERIOUS housecleaning. I am so tired of the following songs.
Going on 50 weeks, GO AWAY, YOU'RE NOT MEANT FOR #1 SO GO AWAY ;)!!!!
Granger Smith- "If The Boots Fits"
High Valley- Make You Mine", so tired of hearing this, it's top 20 Country Radio and label, LET IT GO!!!!
These NEW iHeartRadio songs are only hurting the songs that are trying to get into the 50 and top 40 for Mediabase, I see LoCash is down 7 spots to #47 currently, was #40 with "Ring On Every Finger", Hunter Hayes ain't doing nothing with "Yesterday's Song", Billy Currington is also having a hard time getting traction with "Do I Make You Wanna", and even Florida Georgia Line is not climbing as fast with their latest. With Zac Brown Band's 'My Old Man" coming in with hourly airplay today from iHeartRadio, this is only going to make the other slower moving songs struggle even more and slow the charts down even more. Also with Luke Combs now being declared iHeartRadio On The Verge, "Hurricane" is going to start getting more airplay and that is going to hurt even more songs that are struggling. Also Blake Shelton's new single "Every Time I Hear That Song" is comfirmed now as his next single to impact Feb 21st so ya that's another song that is only going to go up faster than some of these other songs.
This is the complete list of songs that need to leave and just give up.
Granger Smith- "If The Boots Fits" but think this could be heading possibly for #1 (HOPEFUL they are)
High Valley- "Make You Mine"
Chris Stapleton- "Parachute", *know this will go recurrent on Sunday evening also with Carrie's "Dirty Laundry"*
Parmalee- "Roots", it is time for Stoney Creek to put a nail on this one.
Chase Bryant- "Room To Breathe" isn't doing anything and it has fallen ALL the way from #37 to now #44, and with ZBB debuting on possibly tomorrow, this is only going to make it slip even further down the chart.
Hunter Hayes- "Yesterday's Song" *do not care for this one at all*
